Publix is notorious for having great customer service. This one, not so much. The employees in general are rude. I’ve received less than stellar service from the bakery, the deli, the pharmacy, and the cashiers. I’ll stick to shopping at Publix in Nashville because they are great. If I’m in Smyrna, maybe I’ll try Kroger instead.

This is for Deli only. 3 times I have been there the head of the Meat department is inappropriate and not very good at customer service. Final and last time, someone else helped me and then get this asked the Head Butcher guy again. arghhhhh If I wanted him, I would have just asked him. Needless to say, not my favorite and probably won’t go for their meat. Others parts of store no complaints, but definitely not a fan of their meat department. I would give it 1 star, but don’t hate it, just don’t like the head guy.

I called in a week in advance and ordered a smash cake and one dozen cupcakes for my son’s first birthday party, and woman in the bakery that fulfilled my order was a total sweetheart. When she told me my total was only $ 15 I was shocked! Such a good deal. Since it was so cheap I asked if they could customize it, I didn’t mind paying extra. Simple customizations are FREE, folks. I had them do a blue ombré effect on the cake with yellow piping and a yellow crescent moon on top. Yellow frosting for the cupcakes. I went and picked everything up on the day of his birthday and it was all exactly as I wanted it to be! I will be coming back next year for sure!

Always a great experience and easy shopping. My one complaint would be that the fresh fish selection is good but the filet cuts are sometimes not neat.

This Publix is my go to grocery store. Customer service is top notch and couldn’t get much better. Everyone from the stock guys to the management is always helpful and offering assistance. I’m in there sometimes twice a week.
