They couldnt hang on… too bad. The economy has shot dead yet another independent local biz. The Hub closes up on March 15th, 2010. If you want one last try at a Pantherburger then head over and enjoy one soon.

Been going to the Hub now and then since about 1989. Back in th day they were a real old-timey drive in. Sometime in the late 1990’s they remodeled and kind of lost their charm. But the food is still good… and still laughably overpriced. But whenever I am flush with cash I still drop by and consume 3000 calories :)

I like this place and will eat here a couple of times a month. It is truly a «Locals» place where the more you eat there, the better service you get. The food is always hot and good but the prices are all a little high compared to other places. Everything is about $ 1.00 too much if that makes sense. I think of it as a comfort food place to eat. Great chicken fried steak, soups, and burgers. The atmosphere, Well… is kind of like a Doctors waiting room. Bright, clean, sterile, not real inviting. The Hub evolved from a dive into more of a diner type place. But the décor is really lacking something. Maybe a TV would help. The dining crowd is mostly made up of AARP members hitting the specials early. You can’t go wrong here but it’s not going to be the most romantic setting.

The 4 stars is only for the burgers and shakes, actually the bacon burger. The inside of the place and the other food is a 1 star — We tried breakfast and lunch so this review is sans the dinners or the dinner specials other like so much. unfortunately the rest of the food is just cafeteria kinda tasteless and leaves you feeling bummed you ate there. The inside atmosphere is NOT what one would think as «hubbish» it is sterile and kinda creepy. Really needs some life, waitresses are into get it done mode. For sure use the drive thru for a burger and fries with a shake. Don’t waste your time going in, I agree with Cameron L’s review going in leaves me in a weird mood as well.

I‘ve been going to the Hub since I was a kid. Great food. They have made alot of changes since i was in school. Now it‘s sit down place when i was younger. It had a two drive-thur‘s & icecream shop. They are the home of the panther burger. A lot of the food is the same just more of it. It‘s family owned since the 70‘s. All the kids from the High school work there. It‘s a great drive-in. Or U can go &sit down & enjoy.

We just recently discovered The Hub. We like it alot and find ourselves there on nights we don’t want to cook. It’s got a great home cookin menu. I’m a big fan of Turkey Tuesday. Turkey dinner is the special and it’s almost as good as moms. My mom might be reading so I can’t risk saying it’s better then moms! It’s a close race. We have also been in there and I wanted something not on the menu. The waitress was really nice, listened to what I wanted and WAHLA… it was put before me. I love that! It wasn’t on the menu, it was what I really wanted and it was very good. If your looking for good home cookin stop in at The Hub. If you have a hankerin for Thanksgiving dinner for sure stop at The Hub but go early… they do run out. I have had that misfortune.

I have been coming to the hub since my best friend introduced it to me when it was just the old drive in, the little tiny cracker box. They shut down for almost a year and rebuilt a cute little sit down/drive thru restaurant in downtown snohomish. Their food quality is very impressive here, i have never been dissapointed with anything i have tried. Their burgers are pretty tasty! Their fries are always super hot and unsalted, and their tartar sauce is heavenly. I love a restaurant that takes the time to clean their soda machines so that they have fresh, perfectly mixed fountain drinks all the time. You wont be dissapointed if you try the food here.

I went here based on Unilocal reviews and needing someplace in Snohomish for breakfast/lunch. The food wasn’t bad but the help was downright eww. They barely spoke, and one guy looked all greasy and sweaty. The place really lacks in any kind of ambiance as well. I do have to say I enjoyed my panther burger but worried about the hygiene of the kitchen. I doubt I’ll go back.

The food here is good, but the prices are high. My sons and I recently all had Pantherburgers here and milk shakes after hitting some golf balls at the driving range. Our server was courteous and the food was good. We wanted milkshakes which weren’t listed on the menu, but which we knew they had. When we asked our waiter listed them all off the top of his head, I was expecting him to say they were on the menu somewhere we’d overlooked, but apparently they just weren’t on the menu. – weird. Anyhow our tab was nearly $ 50.00 which seems too much for me to come back regularly.

A couple co-workers and I were driving through Snohomish at 8:30am, and had already been up for a couple of hours. We were starving for some good breakfast. I said, «Wait! That place is open!», and we pulled over and tried out The Hub for some good morning eggs. We all ordered omelets. I had the Bonneville Omelet which was basically filled with sauteed veggies and cheddar. Mmmm… delicious! They had a taco omelet or something like that, and they were super pleased as well. The omelets are served with hashbrowns and a choice of toast. We were all full for at least 5 hours. This place serves some good morning grub. Service was great as well. Saw that they had a drive through too! It came to $ 32 with three breakfast plates and we all ordered coffee as well. FYI — They don’t take AmEx. We ate inside and it was a comfy café, simple and easy.
