I’ve had the same hair dresser for years, but recently moved to Snohomish and left my hair dresser behind. It was with trepidation that I went to a stranger to cut my hair, but Kailey at Third Dimension did a great job. My hair is fine, which makes it tough to style & it shows a bad cut all too well. Kailey listened to everything I explained and gave me a cut that looks terrific, styles beautifully AND did not break the bank. I’ll be going back!

A couple days before start of school and my son is scrambling to find place to cut his hair. Being a young man he always goes by himself, but comes back with the same cut. I sent him to this salon because I have had good experiences for myself. Not only did he get a style that he likes, but I do to! I guess he asked to keep the comb they used to style his hair, and she(Shayla) agreed. This little gesture made his day, and he has been giving himself glances in anything reflective around this house. And to top it off, his cut(and style!) was cheaper than a local barber who just shaved it all off. Thanks Shayla!

Let’s just get honest here. You’re paying for a 17.00 hair cut… I took the gamble with my 2 girls who have super long hair and needed a trim badly. It was a stupid bet. I was talked into a «deep conditioning treatment» which was just conditioner that was supposed to stay on for 5+ mins and was washed off one of my girls in under 3(I clocked it because I could TELL how this was going to go). Even the other stylist(there were two working in tandem on my girls) said quietly to the other, «uhhhh, that’s supposed to stay on longer» to which the early-washer stylist said«no I started before you» which she didn’t. Then onto the cut. 2 girls, same super long hair, 1 needing a significant trim(over 3″ inches) but I was talked into just taking an inch or so off. Even though I KNEW it wasn’t enough(super dry, damaged ends from swimming, etc) I went along with it. This stylist parted the hair per beauty school training, cut in progressive sections, etc. HAIRCUTCOMPLETELYUNEVEN. Stylist 2: girl she was working on had a straight across cut at the bottom, stylist did NOT part but instead did the«inexperienced mom-in-the-kitchen-straight-across» job on the bottom and then tapered the sides. I didn’t want the shape changed, just a trim! And its uneven. Neither stylist pulled via symmetry to check for an even cut. They just cut and then blow dried. I mentioned to stylist 1 how the ends of that daughter’s hair still felt dry and damaged and I thought she needed more off — she told me to come back if I thought so later. Here’s the point — this is a glorified Costco of a salon. Don’t go here and expect proficiency. Go here and expect a basic, uneven, quickie job(although not quick at all — we were there over an hour for an uneven hair cut). That said, I saw a gentleman walk in with a RAG of a head and walk out very nicely cut(different stylist). Who knows, its a gamble. I entertained the idea of calling the manager but we all know how that goes, «Come back in, we’ll fix it». I have 3 kids(one of which is an infant), I live in Woodinville and just happened to be in town that day, and it would be yet another gamble on if it was fixed at the end not to mention the uncomfortable feeling having to go back and be the one who was hack-saw’ed the 1st time. AND, my daughter who got the new tapered style would have to lose 4−6″ to get straight across on the bottom again. She’s devastated at her«new hair». Other daughter needs another cut to make her hair manageable(dry ends make it miserable to comb). Sucks but I’ve learned my lesson. GOELSEWHERE!

One of the best haircuts my daughter has had! Very friendly yet without all the small talk and I like that. $ 17 for a cuts seems like a great price to me!

The environment is friendly and inviting. I am approached immediately walking in the door with a friendly welcome every single time I come in no matter who is working the front desk. My stylist(whom I have followed for years through various salons as she has relocated) has ALWAYS given me a cut and color I adore. She is polite with everyone who walks in the door and greets everyone equally. If a stylist is not busy they will come over and watch my stylist work as she answers questions for them and guides them through the process to help them improve their performance. All of the girls cater to customers’ needs carefully and in a timely matter. I have NEVER witnessed a customer be refused service nor have I seen any of the girls be rude or unwelcoming to anyone who’s walked in the door or called on the phone. Children who I have witnessed come into the salon are treated with care and their parents have walked out happy and satisfied with their service. Products are explained before placed on a customer and offered for purchase at the time of checkout. My stylist Kandie does an exceptional job at creating a friendly and welcoming environment and tends to everyone’s needs in a timely matter. Everyone in the salon is bubbly and friendly and willing to learn and assist where needed. I really enjoy this salon and will continue to go see Kandie for any and all of my hair needs.

I made an appointment last night using the message option for 10 am this morning. I was there a few minutes early and had a very short wait for my stylist Dani. I am traveling and just needed a wash, rollerset and style. I told Dani that I did not like«helmet» hair. And she styled it just the way I liked it. I will be back when I visit Snohomish next time. The price was very reasonable.

I had the hair cut from HELL! I recently moved here from Southern California and needed a color and cut. My appointment was in the early evening done by Julie. My color was good but the cut was very /understatement uneven ! I needed layers yes! Needless to say I washed my hair and straighten it to discover just how uneven it really was. I do not recommend this stylist Julie for hair cuts! My hair now needs to grow out on one side to catch up with the other Ahh !!

Been here a few times but never had such a bad experience as tonight! Kindra took nearly two hours to cut my hair. First my appointment was pushed back from 6 to 6:15, but didn’t even start til 6:30…I warned her about a mole on my head and it was ignored. She also burned my ear twice!!! So disappointed. Will not return.

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside as it is in the same plaza as Fred Meyer but it has an upper scale look and feel on the inside with very reasonable prices. Kindra cut my hair… she reminds me of Kendra from Playboy but in a good way… she looks like her and has a sweet, cute personality. She did a good job on my hair and also gave hair advise to my 19 year old while cutting mine. Another lady who works there has experience with African American hair which is great since my children are mixed and one of my girls has very dry, thick, course hair. They do deep conditioning at this place for only $ 15. This is my new hair place:)

I would love to review the hair cut I received at Third Dimension, but despite the«Walk Right In» posted prominently on the front door, I discovered there was a 90 minute wait before they could«get me in.» This doesn’t appear to be an isolated problem, as Jennifer K posted basically the same review back in November of 2012. I have no problem with a hair place operating only on an appointment basis, but don’t advertise Walk-Ins if you are unwilling or unable to accomodate. I was going to try this place again for my next haircut just to see if today was a fluke, but since I’m not the only one to have noticed this, I think I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I’ve been here a few times and always left happy with my haircut. I have thick Asian hair which can be a bit tricky to cut right. The gals here cut my hair dry so I don’t get any unpleasant surprises when my hair dries. On one occasion I was offered to have my hair styled after the haircut since my hair was cut dry which was an unexpected bonus. I walked in once and typically call to make an appointment the same day. The longest wait I had was maybe 5 minutes. Staff is always friendly. One thing to note is they don’t take Amex.

This salon used to be a great place to get a quick drop-in hair cut, but the last two times I’ve been there, they’ve had no one waiting and wouldn’t be able to help me for over an hour. Do not believe what they say about«Walk Ins Welcome.» Sure, you’re welcome, you just will have to wait a LONG time to get your hair cut. Appointments are the only way to go and if I have to make an appointment, I’ll go somewhere with better stylists.

I was very surprised about the quality of this location. From the outside, it has a feel of being a Supercuts, but inside it is much more welcoming and quality on all levels. The service at checkin was great, the staff working the desk really gave off an impression that they cared about the guests who were in their establishment. My stylist was friendly, efficent and took the time to listen to what I wanted from my haircut and style and provided great results. There were no pushy gimmics to try to get products sold. Checkout was quick and efficent. I would gladly return to this location for another great haircut. Dont let the fact it is located in a Fred Meyer strip mall scare you away. I have passed by this place many times before because of there location, which I am sad I did.

I visited this salon about a week ago for a summer cut, and the experience was dreadful. I was charged for a wash, cut and style — but she didn’t wash my hair and she told me I would have to restyle it when I got home because she had to flat iron it weird to cut it. Plus, she spent a good portion of the cut talking to another stylist about her friends Hawaii trip and ignoring me. The cut was equally horrible. I had to go to somewhere else to get it fixed and they said it looked like someone had taken a weed whacker to my head. My whole family was laughing at me because I looked like my mother’s high school year book from 1981… not cool.
