Store has hardware basics as well as a large selection of home décor items. The home décor items are unique with funny signs, kitchenware, cottage and shabby chic style décor. Salespeople are always friendly and helpful.
They are usually open on holidays for that plumbing emergency. They also allow dogs in the stores. It would be OK with a small dog but a large dog may knock a few things off the aisles.

The people that work there are extremely helpful, and there is just about everything you could ever think of when it comes to inventory. Yes, it is a bit pricier than the big box stores, but the experience and supporting a small local business it worth it. I’ve purchased everything from flag holders to yard sale signs to board games from this store, and I’ll keep going there for a long time.

Love this place whether I’m buying a plunger, a birthday card or charming décor for the house. There’s nothing they don’t have and the staff is always friendly and helpful. One of the best places to visit in historic downtown Snoqualmie.

Carmichael’s True Value, owner (s), and staff are as top drawer as you can get… ALWAYS greeted with a smile and are exceptionally helpful… this in addition to have always had what I needed! You will not find a better hardware store anywhere… throw in small town charm and experience a time warp to a time when customer service actually had meaning… Love this place! Everything Under the Sun tucked into the Small Space, Amazing Customer Service!
This is my first stop for any hardware needs. From small, one-​piece fasteners to home repair to household goods, it is incredible to see how they stuff so much into this space. Everytime I think there is no way they will have what I need and that I will need to drive to a larger store, I am pleasantly surprised to find out they DO have what I need. You can buy a single screw there, which you cannot do at Home Depot or Lowe’s. It is truly an old-​school hardware store with long-​time owners and staff who know their stuff. They greet me every single time I walk in and if I don’t have time for the pleasure of walking the aisles, I just tell them what I need and they walk me right there. The old-​fashioned toy section is a favorite of my kids. They also support the community in a variety of ways. Great local business. Love this place.

Stopped by here while touring Western Washington to pick up a part I needed. Within a second they new what I needed and were able to help me out. Totally friendly, totally helpful, totally charming place that is full of stuff you would expect from a small town hardware store. I could have easily stopped by one of the big box stores and muddled my way around and maybe saved 10 cents, but wasted an hour. I’m really glad I chose these guys, and am really sad I don’t live nearby to get the service they gave me on my vacation.
Not really a place for «hands on» toddlers though, even though they have a ton of cool toys.

From the moment you open the door you know you are in a real hardware store not one of those box stores. This place reminds me of trips to the hardware store as a kid with my father. Those are very good memories. They have a good selection for a store their size and will be my first stop for all my hardware needs.

I always love visiting Carmichael’s True Value. It reminds me of the hardware store I went to as a kid, with the old wood floors and aisles and aisles of cool stuff. I met the owner tonight and she was incredibly helpful. Stop by and you’re likely to find pretty much anything you need. And you’ll be supporting a great local business.

I love the folks who work here! They always take time to walk me over to what i need and talk to me about complex construction issues i’m having. They are always polite, courteous, and reasonabley priced. Can’t recommend them enough.
