Lomas Santa Fe Cleaners

The staff at Lomas Santa Fe Cleaners were fantastic. I dropped off a *huge* load of silk blouses to be dry cleaned on a Thursday afternoon. Originally, I was told that they order wouldn’t be ready until Monday of the following week, however I explained that I was starting a new job on Monday. Helen had me pull out a few blouses and said that I could come back tomorrow and part of the order would be finished for me. When I returned on Friday at 2:30PM, not only were the few blouses I selected completely laundered, they had finished every blouse for me. The staff were wonderful! There was one blouse that had been damaged prior to drop off, and the staff spoke to me about alterations for the blouse so that it could be repurposed. I will be bringing all of my dry cleaning and alterations to Lomas Santa Fe Cleaners from here on out.
Also, the cost for their services was more than reasonable. Silk is notoriously delicate, and all of my items looked perfect. Highly recommend!

I have used this cleaner for over 20 years. They are excellent. On time with good service, responsive and responsible and always courteous.

In a highly commoditized industry like dry cleaning and alterations the only way a business can really differentiate is on service, and the ladies at Lomas Santa Fe seem to have done a good job of setting themselves apart in this regard. They’re friendly, prompt and even went out of their way to make sure I got a pair of new pants hemmed in time for the weekend.
The store is clean and the changing room is tidy (I’ve been in some naaaasty dry cleaning /​alterations changing rooms before, believe it or not). The mechanical spinner machine that hustles your clothes to the front of the store works nicely. Not sure what else you need from a dry cleaners!

BUYER BEWARE!!!
I took in two tablecloths after Thanskgiving to have them pressed only. I was informed that the laundry needed them to be wet in order to get a good pressing. Silly me did not ask how much this would cost and when I went to pick up the two tablecloths it was $ 42.75!!!
When I shared with the lady behind the counter that this was ALOT OF MONEY to press (2) tablecloths — her attitude was that was what was charged to them. When I asked her why they did not tell me — she smiled and shared with me that no one really asks.
Suggestion: ASK BEFORE YOU TAKE IN YOUR TABLECLOTHS TO BE PRESSED… and use a Cleaners that seem to care about their Clients pocket.
