This is a very nice store– cheap, too. You can find almost anything here. The budget rack for day-old produce is also good– you can find avocados, grapefruits, limes, etc.
They only take cash, check or Discover cards.

The best store ever. This store was nice it had a deli, which my local Marc’s doesn’t.
And they even had ham and cheese to try which was nice. They had a cute little train above your head going around the store, which is cute for the kids.
The store was clean and nice and big.
The only bummer to Marc’s is they don’t take debit, cash and i believe checks but only in certain check out lanes.

You can always find great stuff here for the low. Just picked up a bbq grilling kit for $ 5, kits like this everywhere else were atleast $ 25.

This is another place I go to at lunch. Avocados are usually $ 1. Chobani yogurts were $ 1 but have since changed to $ 1.25. I get bananas here too. Dry goods and stuff. It is a dumpy store. That is the appeal of Marcs. If you want to feel like a rich person when you shop, go to Mustard Seed. I have noticed a lot of the rich people do shop at Marcs and that is how they stay rich.

Here’s another reason for 0 stars.
Pros:
*Consistently good deals
Cons:
*Most good deals are on close out and you can’t consistently find the products you want
*Store is filthy, cramped and cluttered, the fire dept has had to go in there & tell them to widen their aisles
*Payment, they only accept cash, check (UGH) and recently discover card
*It’s gone downhill quickly, from quirky discount store to one where you fear the thug employees are ripping you off

I don’t love Marc’s…I’ll stop in when it’s the closest place and there is something I need but I never seek it out. I am grateful they started taking Discover a few years ago because I never have cash on me. I would stay away from anything not pre-packaged like meat, vegetables, etc…

really good prices, but sometimes the fruits & vegetables can be suspect.
I think the main problem is when I buy grapes from there
when they are not, you can end up with 100 fruitflies in your home that duplicate, duplicate, duplicate, duplicate… you get the pic.
dry goods, and some amazing discounts. I shop here a lot. Like saving money. I just avoid fruits and veggies.
