Poor worker was by herself but she did a fantastic job keeping everyone happy. The wine on the other hand, was MEH. We did not walk with a bottle purchase. Just didn’t see it worth it.

We were not particularly impressed with their wine. We were hoping for something better. Wine pourer was nice though.

My friend and I discovered this place randomly wine tasting in the Santa Inez area. We were welcomed with our small adorable yet skittish little terrier dog. To my amazement she was calm with most of the guests and enjoyed being able to place her head at the bar. We enjoyed the wonderful red wines and the Viognier was amazing. Kudos to all the owners and staff we are happy to be members of the pub club and she thoroughly enjoyed the place when we are in the area.

We came on a Thursday, which guaranteed that the place was not too full. The lady who helped us was very friendly and the wines were tasty. Our fave was the Syrah brady’s blend. Peppery and smooth. Drinkable mow or shelve it for a couple of years and enjoy layer.

Our group of 4 started at Wandering Dog, which resulted in less than stellar service, and contradictory policies. We decided to try out the other Dog tasting room, which we loved. Both the server and the owner were nice, helpful, and not standoffish. We ended up buying glasses and then splitting a bottle, just relaxing before heading to the hotel room. Definitely top dogg.

Our lovely wine steward was amazing here. The better of the two«dogs,» in town. Bought glasses and a bottle of dry rose to end our night here in town.

After an awful time at the Wandering Dog, this place was great. The blond lady behind the counter was very nice and attentive. At some point, Brent arrived. He is the owner and maker of the wine. He came over and talked to us about the wine. My husband bought a bottle of the lucky 7 wine. The wine was really good. I am not a huge wine drinker but my husband loves wine. He said we would definitely come back to this place. I hope they get some food options on their menu. Wine with cheese is yummy!

Lucky Dogg winery was recommended by one of our regular tasting rooms. As the name says, they are very dog friendly. The wines were very tasty, the atmosphere was fun and the owner was a hoot to talk with. Even made our dog, dog of the day. Definitely will put them on our regular tasting room list.

All of the wines are unique! 3 different Chardonnays, the dessert Viognier was lovely, Brady’s blend is excellent. The rose is made from Pinot… It was spicy and great flavor. The most unique wines all in one place.

As soon as we walked in, we knew we made a good choice. The tasting room is big and open, with lots of seating options… particularly lots of low seating for people with dogs and children. The lady pouring the wine was incredibly friendly and helpful. She even told us about the winter pass that can be used at 15 wineries in the valley, so we bought them(of course!). Also, I love sweet wine(don’t judge me) and they have a very sweet chardonnay that tastes like cotton candy and is only $ 18!

AWESOME place! The owner was there during my wine tasting and was so genuine and helpful when choosing the perfect wines! The atmosphere was very welcoming and laid back(cute scare crow for Halloween too!). Definitely a spot to try if you’re in this cute town! All the wines have clever names and are very tasty which make them unforgettable.

Wine tasting number 1! They have a 2-for-1 coupon. Tastings cost $ 10 for 5 wines. Wine was good. Service was friendly. Dog friendly.

Lucky Dogg is located in a great place and everyone is super friendly and dog friendly which is nice. Unfortunately the wines aren’t very good, too sweet in most cases especially their honey badger. Their 2 for 1 special at 10.00 makes it worth a stop but only if it’s the very end of the day.

I really don’t like to be the bearer of bad news but this winery is just plain bad. We sampled 5 wines and couldn’t find one that was worth finishing the sample pour. The staff was friendly and the guests seem to enjoy the experience but the wine just doesn’t hold up, sorry.

Such a fun experience. The owner Brent popped in while we were tasting and he’s so down to earth and genuinely loves wine and his Lucky Dog brand. Awesome people. They make you feel comfortable, they’re not pushy at all, and it’s a great place to be. Plus they’re dog friendly. Check it out! We went there because our hotel gave us a voucher for free wine tasting. We loved our experience so much we left with a bottle of wine, wine glasses, a hat, and a shirt! They definitely left an impression :)

Had a lovely experience here. As one of the few tasting rooms open late in Solvang’s town centre, this is a great little spot to wind down pre-dinner. I visited as a twosome and we were able to taste for free thanks to staying down the street at Hadsten House. Lucky Dogg is very new to the area, but a great addition. Our wine pourer(whose name is escaping me but she is a very lovely woman) was very knowledgeable in the history of LD and even more knowledgeable about the area. We asked for dinner and breakfast recommendations and she rattled off quite the list for us to choose from(and we ended up taking her suggestions two meals in a row with great success!) The wines were delicious especially for being such a green brand. I was particularly taken with the rose and both syrahs. Very walkable to the rest of Solvang, so I definitely recommend adding this as a consistent stop.
