It had a feeling of a Muirfield Village or Augusta like. Of course not the same manicured masterpiece but the greens were great. They ran fast, in and out of the shade but held shots well. The likeness to the two courses above are because of the tee shots. Plenty of the tee boxes are in a wooded chute. The fairways are rolling and generous. I belong to the golf 18 network and only paid 37.00 for a cart and 18 holes for my son and I, a steal. I usually hit 260 – 280 off the tee but with plenty of 400 yard ish par 4’s I found it challenging. Greens I give a solid A, layout solid A, fairways B, tee boxes solid C(shade tends to keep most of the boxes thin and ratty). All in all, fun fair course. There are about 5 tight holes that can eat up bad shots so beware. Those holes you will detect right from the tee.

This course is a gem, less than an hour from the Twin Cities. It’s a very pretty rural track. Not a pushover by any means. Some very difficult holes mixed in with a one or two easier(especially #1, a birdie opportunity par 5). Was in excellent condition when we played. Loved it!

This Course only needs a Ground Crew and head Greens Keeper and a Good Head Pro to make this a Top 5 Course it plays nice but a bit on the easy side, tee boxes need to be cut a bit shorter and greens need just a little bit of help for the money you cant go wrong!

The few greens that were not dead and marked as under repair, weren’t much better. Pace of play leads something to be desired, also. Empty water stations on a 100* day would have been fine if there was an on course beverage cart, but unfortunately there was not. The claim to fame here is low cost golf that’s just what you’ll get. When you don’t charge much you don’t have much income to use for maintenance or amenities, so I guess we weren’t too surprised. I doubt that the greens will heal by season’s end this year. Staff was nice — conditions were not. No reason to return.
