Worst pharmacy customer service ever! Refuse to call another pharmacy to transfer a prescription; they say the other pharmacy should call them. That’s not how it works. Just to be sure, I called my other pharmacy holding my prescription and they also agreed that CVS should call them. Why do I have to beg to give them my prescription money? Another time, I called 8 hours or so in advance to have a prescription ready and when I got there, they never even did it. I had to wait an hour. My husband went for a flu shot and when he called beforehand, they told him the pharmacist takes flu shot customers right away. He waited an hour. Funny thing is… I called CVS in Mt. Pleasant, PA, and they were VERY accommodating and willing to call to get my prescription. I will drive to Mt. Pleasant than to EVER use their pharmacy again. You are not the only game in town, CVS. It would just be easier for me due to insurance reasons to go through you. But I will go way out of my way to go elsewhere and be much less annoyed. Good riddance, CVS!

This is my hometown CVS! CVS didn’t come to Somerset until after I left town for college, so I only get to enjoy this one when I’m home for holidays and such. Because Somerset is such a small town, photo and pharmacy service are quick. Staff are friendly in the usual small-town way. Warning: watch out for stray carts and speeding pickup trucks in the parking lot.
