Golden West Glass

Golden West Glass installed an openable skylight on my home. At the time, I was told that the straight crank assembly would be replaced with a 45 degree assembly which should have been installed in the first place.
It is now over a year later and despite several visits to the Golden West office for a resolution, the crank assembly has not been replaced and the skylight is very difficult to operate. There have been absolutely no phone calls or any explanation of any kind from Golden West. I completely agree with Conn D’s comments on the office staff.
The installation is fine and the installers were pleasant to work with, however.

I need to replace a few windows in my house and I wanted to try and stay local and give the business to a small business right where I live. I stopped by the office and let them know what I was looking for. The lady seemed very unorganized and almost annoyed that I was in there talking to her. I gave her my measurements, decided on the type of window and she wrote or I should say scribbled it down in a notebook with my contact info. She said she couldn’t give me a quote until tomorrow. I told her that was fine and I looked forward to her call.
It’s been about 6 weeks now and still no call. I guess the other reviews were right about the service so sadly, I will not be buying my windows locally from them.

I have used these guys several times they always come through, and are reasonable. They did a terrific job with a friendly positive attitude. These are the go to glass guys! A+

They were very nice when I went to their shop. They repaired a mirror for me and did a nice job. (reason for 2 stars instead of 0) I asked if they could come to my house to hang it. Yes, it would take two guys. Ok. When one guy arrived. where is is the second guy? «He can’t make it». The one guy attempted to hang the mirror. First, it was not straight, so he took it down and rehung it. Huge hole in the wall that was just painted the night before and all the paint below the mirror was scratched. When I questioned the charge, he lowered the bill and said house call minimum is $ 125. Never said he was sorry. He said it looks like it is going to be a nice day. The painter had to come back and patch the wall and repaint. I would have been nice to give my business to a local company. forget it.
