Gayle and I stopped in during a recent visit to the Sonoma Plaza. A few of the glass pieces got Gayle’s attention and some of the more interesting wall hangings and jewelry kept us there for a little longer than we expected. The person minding the store was also a bit long winded in her enthusiastic background descriptions, complete with lots of name dropping. Both Gayle and I found things that we really liked, but not enough to pull the immediate gratification«trigger» We’ll be back soon enough to take other look and we’ll see how our interest will stand the test of time. We were also hesitant because there was already a canine-inspired art piece in the car from another Gallery when that return trip gave the credit card a good workout.

I went to the original North Bay Gallery in Yountville as well as this new location in Sonoma during a day trip my family took to Napa. The place is extremely nice, well kept, clean, neat, and very well stocked with a wide variety of art pieces. Although the prices ranged a lot depending on the items, I was able to find a steal at the gallery in Yountville(it had a larger selection) while a friend of mine was able to purchase a frog from the Frogman collection at the location in Sonoma. The employee was extremely helpful and pleasant and I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience.
