Sonoma Square Cottage

This lovely home is nestled in one of the charming Sonoma neighborhoods. The house is only three blocks to the main square and other conveniences. If you have small children, this is a perfect match. Of the three bedrooms, one is a kids room with great bunk beds and the owners converted the garage into a huge playroom. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom. The special feature for us was the back yard. It is a beautifully landscaped fenced-​in area with a shaded covering. There is a gas grill, very comfortable furniture and a large table for outdoor dining. It is lovely. There are great playgrounds nearby for kids, including a playground at the square, Maxwell park about 10 minutes away and Playground Fantastico in Napa. Train Town is a few blocks away and is a fun attraction for kids. This house is a winner as is the owner !!

First of all, working with the owner of this property was a pleasure. He was extremely timely with correspondence and answering any questions that we had.
This cottage was the perfect fit for my husband and I with our two young boys (3yr old and 5mo old.) We immediately felt at home.
The converted garage to playroom was an absolute hit. Very comfortable beds and linens. A kitchen with all you could need and the patio and outdoor space in the back was great to both play and relax in. (And for those of us that are television/​movie watching snobs… the HD/​3D TV was awesome.)
Quiet and beautiful part of town with perfect proximity to the square and other offerings of downtown Sonoma.
We walked to the Farmers Market (both Friday a.m. and Tuesday evening) TrainTown, Whole Foods and Sebastiani Winery — just to name a few of the easily accessible spots.

My family and I stayed at Sonoma Square Cottage Aug. 2012 (4 adults & 2 little ones) and enjoyed the most awesome time. First, let me say the owner Jonathan is wonderful to work with and you immediately realize his major concern is your complete enjoyment of the home. The house is exceptionally clean, light and airy and spacious with an amazing kitchen. The back patio area is delightful and intimate and sipping some Sonoma made wine out there is pure heaven. The house is within walking distance to Sonoma Square and some very nice wineries and easy driving to many other wineries. If you have children this is the house you want to stay at. A fun-​filled game room keeps the children and sometimes the adults quite occupied! We have rented many homes over the years and this by far is our #1 favorite. I would give this house ten stars if I could!!!
