I met up with a friend here yesterday to start off our Sonoma wine tasting adventures and I’m glad that we did. Janice was very helpful in providing very useful information regarding the wineries. The maps and other resources she provided were fantastic and the coupons provided great 2-for-1 deals or free reserve tastings. I highly recommend stopping by this Visitor’s Center, even if you are(like me) one who typically does your own research and itinerary.

Such sweet ladies with a ton of helpful information and even sell a few items(like the postcards I needed).

I always stop in here when I am in Sonoma and every time I go in here I have found the staff to be unhelpful and act like they have something better to do. They are not very forthcoming and overly helpful in trying to help me plan my wine tasting trip. Honesty when I ask them a question I feel like I’m talking to a robot, either one word or one sentence replies. If you are short on time I would skip this place and rather get info from the Santa Rosa Visitors Center or at Cornerstone. Also, they do not have many free tasting passes, mostly 2 for 1 and usually a lot less than I can find at either of the other two visitors centers.

we only stopped in for a bit. they gave us maps. they were not terribly helpful with suggestions for vineyards. basically just said to try the ones nearbye and gave us some 2-for-1 tasting coupons. eh. i expected them to be more helpful or knowledgable about local wineries especially since it was a sunday afternoon. i thought they’d have someone more knowledgable working.

Went here today and the lady working there was super helpful. She gave us maps, marked some things down. Hot tip: Ask for, and wear, a «I Love Sonoma Valley» sticker and you’ll get free wine tastings at various wineries.
