Bedbugs. I kid you not. Okay, so I check in on my first night of a multiple week stay and move all my stuff in. I get comfy, avoid the THREADBARE chair in the living room, then get into bed. Minutes after getting into bed I see bugs(one filled with blood) crawling around me. BEDBUGS. So, I call the emergency call number and they let me know there’s nothing they can do until the next day. I tell them that’s not acceptable, and leave. The next day I leave multiple phone message but it takes time to get management on the phone. They confirm the bedbugs, and say they’ve moved the few things I left to a new apartment. I ask about bedbugs in the new until, they say they’ve looked. I ask if they are certified for bedbug inspection, they say they’re trained. I move in to the much nicer unit, I stay a few nights suffering the noisy neighbors. On the second night I find another bedbug on the couch. On the third night, I find the rest of their colony. I let management know, and offer to show them the bedbugs. They say they’ll send someone in the hour, but they don’t show up. I move out. Now, management was very kind, didn’t charge me for my stay and reimbursed me for my cleaning expenses. Had the story ended there, I would not write this review. HOWEVER, along with my check for cleaning costs they included a letter denying the bedbugs in the second until saying they were«leafhoppers.» I know leafhoppers, and those were not the bugs I saw. Worrying about other tenants, I wrote an email pleading that they look again, and even offered to come back and show them the bedbugs. No response. So, unfortunately, I have to assume they have not solved the problem and since they have been unresponsive to my email and warn the public here. If they respond to me, here or to my email, I will update appropriately.
