I Love Pizza

Thank God they closed

It is indeed ironic that a place named I Love Pizza can make you hate them. Staff, super rude! Unknowledgeable in their menu, and the ways of customer service. The pizza, awful. Now mind you, I lived in Chicago for 3 decades, so I am accustomed to better. However, thin unseasoned tasteless crust. Unseasoned tomato sauces that I know come out of a can. Something that resembles sausage «bits». Just awful. Just sayin’.

i dont get the hate. perhaps cause i rarely go to their location, much less very late at night on a weekend. but, for those of you who do, youre all really annoying drunks. ok not all of you, maybe just 98% of you all, bitches.
anyways. i always order delivery. they are quick and effective. i like to keep it simple so i go for extra cheese and thats it. comes up for around 18 $ and i normally get my pizza within 30 minutes.
gotto love thin crust pizza and this is why i say i love i love pizza.

ordered this pizza for a party at chalk, delivery dude drove it over on the bicycyle and i picked it up outside the door… delicious, fast, good variety, ordered about 5 – 6 large pizzas with different toppings, everyone ate it up and said it was fantastic. fairly priced for the beach.

Got drawn in to this place when I received a flyer which promoted their Manhattan pizza XL for $ 7.99. Figure $ 8 was worth a try and I have been thankful ever since.
I was raised in NY and part of my diet was pizza. I can definitely say this place comes very close to what a NY slice should taste like. I love pizza and love this place on Mondays. They have $.99 slices which a re a nice size and very delish.
Looking over the reviews, most people that gave it a low rating were based on bad service and not bad pizza. I’ve always grabbed my slice during the day so I haven’t experienced the bad service in the wee hours.
To my NY people, if you want a taste of home, this is it. Enjoy and see you on Mondays.

They Have a Happy Mondays promotion (which they send out in the mail) for 99-​cent cheese pizza (store pick-​up only) and I have been doing that for the past few Mondays, but they must have decided they don’t like customers who only do the specials. The behind-​the-​counter operation is confusing and can be slow (but thepizza is good), even when there are just a few people. Today, my order was ready in no time flat, and I understood why when I got home — they didn’t even bother to heat up the pizza — just slapped 4 cold pieces in a box as «punishment» I guess. I thought about taking it back but thought a Unilocal review a better idea — if the big pizza guy even bothers to read his reviews — or even cares!

I can understand when places get busy that stress levels can run high, however, that does not excuse the staff at I Love Pizza for the degree of rudeness they exhibited on New Year’s. My friend inquired about our pizzas once (just once!) after waiting patiently for 40 minutes and watching people come and go with what should have been our pizzas, and two of the staff members nearly bit his head off. They continued this sort of attitude with other customers there as well, so I know it wasn’t just us that were bothering them.
I considered giving this place 2 stars because the pizzas, once we got them, were quite tasty, but that didn’t make up for the lowsy treatment from the employees that night. I’m so glad I live in Broward county where I don’t have to deal with this place again and have the option of going to other pizza places where they actually care about their customers.

Well I was one of the VERY few sober people there at 4 in the morning and the service is awful. If I could give them no stars I would. They didn’t make our pizzas until we had to repeatedly ask about them. They would take «tips» and the bigger the tip the quicker they would hand over any pizza regardless if it was someone else’s. Very very bad service. And very rude on top of that. I would recommend staying away.
