WOW. A gorgeous pair of palazzo pants were RUINED by the owner taking them in more than I asked — And on top of it, it was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. No apology when she learned she had made a mistake and couldn’t fix them. Instead the owner was incredibly rude and yelled «GO TO SOMEONE ELSE if you don’t like it.» $ 175 pants destroyed! Don’t let this happen to you.

I brought two bridesmaids dresses in that both had very different issues; the owner knew exactly what to do to make both of them fit very nicely, and the alterations came out very cleanly. She was knowledgable, nice, inexpensive, and her turn-​around was quick. I’m planning on going to her for my bridal gown very soon!

I took a suit jacket to be cleaned and had a nice evening gown fixed here, as I was at one time disillusioned about my weight and tried to fit into a gown that was (at the time) 6 sizes too small. Needless to say, the zipper busted. So, here I am, 6 sizes less than I was when I broke the zipper and able to fit into a gown that had already been altered to fit a 15 year old girl nearly 15 years ago. ;). Well, the lady who does the tailoring put a new zipper and matched the color (royal purple) remarkably well. In fact, I think she did a better job than the first tailor who worked on the dress. She was nice, cleaned the dress and got out off of the wrinkles it had from 14 years of being stored in mom’s closet.
The price was excellent too. My boyfriend has been back several times for alterations, and trust me, if I had more time, I’d be over there every time I bought a new pair of jeans.

I brought five pairs of designer jeans into the shop to get hemmed. I asked for ORIGINAL HEM. I did NOT get original hem; I’m not sure what style they used to hem my pants but they look HIDEOUS! With over $ 500 in jeans with now crap hems, I’m embarrassed to wear them. They charged me $ 20 per pant for this horrible job. I will never go back to this place again. If anyone knows of an actual quality alterations place, please let me know. I’ve been to now two places that have messed up my clothing. :(
