We get takeout from here at least 4 times a month. The wait staff is always friendly and our order has only been wrong once. When we told them about the mistake we received a sincere apology an a free appetizer. The food has always been consistently good. My favorite is the pineapple fried rice. Also good — moo shu chicken, steamed dumplings, shrimp in lobster sauce, sweet and sour chicken.

Amazing Penang curry dish. Best Chinese we’ve had in a long time. No wonder the place was packed and the takeout line long!

Eat in, don’t take out. That is to say, come for the atmosphere more than the food. The dining room is beautiful, decorated with dark wood and pleasant natural light. It has the feel of upscale. This restaurant serves Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean food, which is a bit unusual. The name(Le Anh) is Vietnamese, and I believe the owners are too, so you might be best off getting something from the Vietnamese menu. I got Chinese food: General Tso’s and Kung Pao chicken. They were pretty good, a definite step up from regular take-out, but nothing to rave about. There are some pretty reasonable lunch specials in the $ 8 range, otherwise most dishes were around $ 12.

When at the beach we were looking for something new and this place was excellent. My husband had the Triple Delight which he loved. I had Korean and it was better than Roy Choy I had in LA. Will be back next time at Daytona. Great food and good service.

i was only visiting my parents so i’m not a local but the service and the food was very good, my parents who live nearby will definitely be ordering again, warning the thai tea is as gigantic as it is delicious, they served it in a soup container!!!

I dine here often. They sell Chinese, Korean, Thai & Vietnamese. The Chinese food is delicious but I’m not sure how good the other Asian dishes are because they are Chinese people cooking it. Normally I don’t go to a Chinese restaurant for Thai food. For that I would suggest going to a Thai restaurant. It’s like going to an Italian restaurant for sushi.

My family and I decided to give Leanh’s a try. We tried a sampling from each cuisine offered and have to say that Leanh’s is, hands down, the best Chinese restaurant in the Daytona/Port Orange area. We tried the egg rolls, Crab Rangoon, Fried Wontons and Chicken Corn Soup to get us started. The portion sizes were great for sharing and the appetizers did not disappoint. For entrees, we ordered Three Delights, Beef and Oyster Sauce, Pad Thai Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein and Phở Tai. All dishes were delicious. My only recommendation would be to add snow peas to the Beef and Oyster Sauce … but learned all we have to do is ask. We will be back.

We stopped at Leanh’s on way to Orlando. We called ahead and they were able to accommodate us in 10 mins. But it was almost full on a Friday night. It was not too far from the highway and had a large variety of different Asian cuisines. The food was fresh and they did a decent job of including the different authentic flavors of all the different cuisines. The red curry was good, their Korean Bilgogi looked tasty, the kids portions were large and the Chinese dishes were authentic. Portions were large. But, I was very impressed how amazing and attentive their staff was. Definitely would stopby again. K.R. Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

This place is by far the best Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Korean restaurant in the area. You can do take out, but I think dining in is the best option if you plan on doing anything other than Chinese. On this occasion I went outside my normal choices of the chicken Panang curry or the Phở Tai and went with Bun Ga. Bun Ga, to the best of my descriptive ability, is a delicious, fairly light bowl of shredded lettuce with cilantro(with other green stuff), rice noodles, fish sauce on the side and amazingly seasoned chicken topped with peanuts. Maybe it doesn’t sound like a must try, but I am so glad I did. The portion was enormous, but I did eat it all since it was so light. The rest of the table went with the Panang, my go-to, and General Tso’s chicken. Everybody was happy. My one suggestion is if you want it spicy, you must ask. The curry comes out spicy, but I had to request for the Bun Ga to be made spicy. If you are nearby and feel like a different sit down meal Leanh’s is a place to try

A decent Chinese restaurant with vegan options. What drew me to Leanh’s was the diverse menu, which includes a vegetarian section. With those items, you can specify vegetarian or vegan, which is nice, since sometimes it can be a bit ambiguous with Chinese if you’re actually getting something that is vegan. I decided to give the General Tso’s Tofu a shot. It was okay, but pretty mediocre compared to what I’ve had before. I asked for it extra spicy, since the menu says to choose your level of spice. Well, it wasn’t spicy at all, so that also left me kind of disappointed. At $ 13.50 for takeout dinner, it was definitely overpriced. I honestly don’t know why it’s marked up so much higher than the other meals. The only difference really is the sauce, which was quite lackluster. I recommend maybe trying some of the other basic vegetarian entrees that are closer to $ 10. They have several veggie/tofu combinations that sound like they could be good. Instead it was dimly sit and fairly crowded on a Sunday night. I was considering dining in, but it just seemed to busy. Service was very friendly here and I like the appeal of the vegan-friendly menu. I would probably be willing to stop by the next time I’m in Daytona Beach to try something else, but I wasn’t particularly blown away by my first visit there.

Outstanding service and food quality. Best Chinese food in central Florida. I miss my New England style Chinese food and for Florida, this is about as good as it gets. Unreal wonton soup. This is my new regular spot!

Atmosphere: A bit on the dark side; it seems a bit romantic. Lots of tables and booth options. Service: The water filler guy was quick to refill my water. My server was an older male and asked me about my meal once, which is fine(he didn’t come until the very end though). I came for dinner because I was really craving something warm and soupy. I live near Boston so I’m pretty spoiled with a lot of great Vietnamese food. I ordered 3 items: the goi cuon(summer rolls they call it), thit bo tai chanh(rare beef cooked in lemon), and phở tai(rare beef in beef noodle broth). For dinner, they also gave me a generous bowl of fried wontons and duck sauce. Nice gesture but doesn’t help my diet(who am I kidding, I ordered so much food for a small girl). Goi cuon: They provided a peanut sauce which was creamy and delectable! It was served warm with two summer rolls. Each summer had too much vermicelli. They gave me 1 shrimp each(sliced in half), a few pieces of Chinese spareribs shredded, several bean sprouts, and a couple sprigs of Asian greens. I wish they lowered on the vermicelli because I couldn’t taste any of the veggies or meat. The sauce went really well with the summer rolls(I typically call them spring rolls but that’s a controversial topic I don’t want to get in between spring rolls vs egg rolls –_-) = $ 4.95 Thit bo tai chanh: This was something I definitely didn’t like. I’ve had plenty of thit bo tai chanh but this was so strange. The meat was slightly cooked(which is great), however, they were WARM. That was bizarre to me! This is usually served chilled in lime juice and fish sauce. They served me a dish of warm, slightly cooked meat. There was no flavor on the meat. The meat was placed on top of picked red onions(those were okay) and sprinkled with fried shallots. They also served this with shrimp crackers but the shrimp crackers looked burnt/over fried. I squirted some lemon and sriracha sauce which made the meat alright, but I wouldn’t order again. Definitely not what I expected. = $ 10.95 Phở tai: It smelled SO good! The brother was overly sweet; I can definitely taste a ton of msg. The phở noodles were thicker than normal and not as cooked. Few slices of rare beef(but who am I kidding, I have a plate full of rare beef to use!), no veggies or bean sprouts to use. They topped the bowl with some onions and scallions, but typically for phở, they’re suppose to provide a side of Asian greens, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapenos. None of that. I couldn’t finish the whole bowl as it was a tad too sweet and nothing for me to eat but noodles on noodles. = $ 9.95 Overall, probably wouldn’t come back. Not worth the stars for me. Maybe other food on the menu but my meal was a disappointment. The peanut sauce was good though!

Leanh’s has been open for 30 years. I have been going here for 15 years and it surprised me to realize this. Five years ago, they moved from Beville Road to this new location on Nova Road in South Daytona. While I see a lot of newer faces in a much larger and much newer restaurant, I am happy to say I still see Leanh and her mom running this wonderful establishment and they are still serving wonderful that I continue to come back for. For everyone that isn’t adventurous, they will make you all of the Faux-Chinese(American) staples that people have come to love: sweet and sour chicken/pork; General Tso’s chicken, Pu Pu Platters, etc. These are all fairly decent tasting foods that are good if you want to please a bunch of people at the same time. I cannot count how many times I have gone in and seen all of the tables around me filled with General Tso’s chicken. I love Leanh’s version so long as it is extra-extra-spicy. Personally, though, I like to get a big bowl of soup or phở, a pot of mango curry(mango garee), or some yeung chow fried rice(Nancy’s House Special Fried Rice). There is just something really great about the strong pungent flavors taking over my senses of taste and smell. I love to get the seafood phở and add squid and beef along with some baby bok choi. The broth is very light but holds its own against the shrimp, scallops, squid, and beef that dance throughout the noodles; the slight bitterness of the baby bok choy just punctuates all of the rest of the flavors and heightens the experience. What is the difference between the fried rice I order and the friend rice that is served along with most dishes? Three things: 1. Less soy sauce 2. Many meats 3. It’s not a side, it’s an entrée by itself. Anyone that has read any of my other reviews knows my love of Yeung chow fried rice and Leanh’s mom, Nancy, has a stellar recipe that truly is a meal unto itself. I do like to add just a hint of sesame oil to mine. Whenever I have guests, I always take them to Leanh’s since I know it will be a good experience. If you like Chinese, Asian, or Asian-themed food, you should definitely try it out.

Fusion not my thing Until I met Leanh, sigh Long distance does suck… It seems like the only way for any sort of non-American food restaurant to survive in Florida is to serve all the type of food possible. And this place does a number of things well. First of all, they are super friendly. We had a baby in tow, and they offered us a basket to keep him in!(Like a baby basket, this isn’t like a Moses or Jesus situation here.) I had the Phở, fresh rolls, some noodles with yellow curry, fried rice, and some killer Thai papaya salad. WOW. I really thought I would have to go to at least three separate restaurants to get the variety and the quality. Leanh’s got it all. Not only that, they are very gluten free, vegan, aware. If you need anything special, just ask, and they know what’s up. So, next time you’re arguing with your vegan, gluten free, carnivore, cravin’ Asian friends, just go to Leanh’s. It does get pretty crazy, so do the reservation thing if you can.

I so wanted to fall in love with this place, the limited selection of sit down Chinese Restaurants in the area makes it very difficult to judge this without being somewhat bias. The reviews are very persuasive and that combined with the exceptional service its tough not to get caught up in the positive vibes and décor and just ignore the real reason we dine out which is great experiences and great food. I feel the food falls short of being a place that is unforgettable, I didn’t get a feeling that the food preparation or the presentation represented anything memorable. The wonton soup was disappointing in my opinion it was nothing more than beef broth warmed with pre-made wontons very bland. The combination shrimp, chicken and beef fried rice was equally as disappointing it didn’t appear to be made to order and was nothing more than the standard pork fried rice jazzed up with an over abundance of bean sprouts add in the shrimp, beef and chicken and there you have it, the presents of cubed pork gave it away. The Shrimp and Chinese veggies steamed with lots of garlic seemed bland and anemic as were the egg rolls. It could live up to okay take out for the area but not on par with a really good sit down restaurant.
