I am so grateful to have found Natural Alternatives. Jean has changed my life! I know she will always tell me the truth of what I need. I have done many sessions of Health Kinesioloy and mucle testing which have improved my life. Everyone at the shop is nice and knowledgeable. I also see Sarah for massages and she is great!

Hard to find, but worth the trip! This is a little shop in a nondescript strip mall on Rt 31, but my first experience was great. I stopped in for some weight management supplements and Sarah was very helpful and knowledgeable in what I needed. As others have indicated, she was very interested in finding the right product for me, but not pushy. I finally chose the diet cleanse and carb blocker. She genuinely wanted feedback on how the products worked for me on my next visit. I also believe the brand of supplements sold were of the highest quality. For the first time I walked out of a vitamin store feeling confident about my purchases. If these supplements work, I will be back. Some friends had recommended this little shop and I am sure I will return. Also I like to support small local businesses.

I just had my first experience at the Herb shop today and was very impressed with knowledgeable staff. Sarah spent time with me going over all my options and explained to me why she chose these specific items for my symptoms. She did not push me to buy anything and was very friendly. I will definitely be returning for anything I need in the future and am even considering getting a massage!

Every time I go to the Natural Alternatives Herb Shop I have a great experience. Normally I don’t know what I need, I just know the symptoms I am having (allergies, colds, etc.). The employees there have always been kind and are willing to share their knowledge on natural remedies and suggest what I should do. They are not pushy to sell their products, they let you decide. I appreciate that and that is why I keep going back!

I’ve been seeing Sarah Dick for massage therapy at the Natural Alternatives Herb Shop in South Elgin for about a year now and every time I leave her table, I feel relaxed and refreshed!
Sarah always asks if there are any particular areas of my body that need attention and typically it’s my neck and shoulders from sitting at a desk all day. After a massage from Sarah, I feel like a new person! Sarah is also sensitive to my lower back issues and ensures I’m comfortable at all times making sure she is not using too much pressure.
Sarah is always professional and easy to talk to. She keeps up to date with new massage techniques and shares her vast knowledge of overall wellness. She creates a relaxed atmosphere with low lighting, a warm table & soft music and offers aromatherapy massage as well. Sarah frequently runs «specials» on some of the different types of massages she offers as well as a repeat-​customer punch card that helps with the budget-​minded like me!
I confidently give Sarah 5 stars. She is outstanding!
