Denny’s

Fast seating, quality customer service and fast food. We ordered 3 plates from the 2,4,6,8, menu and mozzarella sticks and they were fast! Our server was Jeici and she was just ON IT to make sure we were satisfied and I was more than impressed! Whenever we needed something, she literally– LITERALLY brought it to our table without us even talking to her. Didn’t have ketchup? She passed by and put it on our table. Our table didn’t have syrup and I was getting ready to look around when she came out of no where and brought it! I use to come here regularly until one bad experience but now, because of Jeici, I will definitely come back soon.

Wait was long for everything, food almost got to the table faster than the drinks & to top it off when everything finally got to the table it tasted horrible.

Im so annoyed just by giving them 1 start i been here several time n this always happen worst customer service they too slowed i mean 1:30 minutes just to get ur food n be seated on a not busy day
I put my ordrr 20 minutes later a family sat across from me n they received their food before me when i received my food it was cold my kids were irritated worst place to eat on a morning with ur family beware

The service I got from this Dennys was very poor my husband my baby and I decided to eat to Dennys we were waiting probably for 15 minutes the wait wasnt long probably cuz it was 1:00 already we got seated I ordered some pancakes with eggs for my 3 yearly old son and when his food gets to the table there was like dust that comes out from the fans on top of the pancakes I looked closely and next to the pancakes there was a worm It was disgusting just to think that my son was going to eat from that plate I wanted to leave but my husband wanted to stay cuz it was late already and we hadn’t ate anything the manager comes and apologize and I asked him «what is a worm and dust doing in the plate“and he said that unfortunately there’s a lot of birds outside and the dust could of been because of the ceiling of the AC or fans I wanted to laugh and go off on him but my husband had warn me to not do a scene before he came what do birds have to do with a worm being on my son’s plate not coming to this Dennys ever again!!!

I this is close to home, I love he fact that it has a varieties of foods to pick from and knowing it’s open 24hrs it’s a plus on my list. They do take a while to take your order and for your food to be ready, however I do understand and I don’t mind waiting if my food is gonna be delicious. Our server name was Jose really nice and polite man on the night shift he was on point all the time he’s attention to detail and making sure we had what we needed was great. Everytime I come here my experience has been great. We had a salad and I was delicious, mind you I have had probably half the menu already but we were in a mood for a nice hearty salad and indeed we got it.

This has got to be the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. 1) I ordered the sirloin steak with macaroni & cheese, zucchini and vegetables. You tell me there’s no Mac & cheese, ok. But yet wait til you bring my food to tell me the zucchini is burnt and there’s no vegetables?! Not ok. 2) Mom ordered a steak skillet with fried shrimp on the side and flour tortillas. You bring her TWO cold tortillas and again, you wait til the food is served to tell her there’s no more shrimp! 3) My brother ordered the zesty nachos and they were SUPER salty! When he tells you this you tried explaining it was the cheese and sauce and that’s how it’s made.
I’m sorry but NO. That is NOT how you serve food. You tell us items are not available AS WE ORDER them not when you bring a portion of it thus making us look at the menu again! You do NOT try to convince us that’s how the food should taste. We’ve been ordering these dishes longer than you’ve held a job… plus we have taste buds so we KNOW what salty is!
I should not have to chase you down to get water, get napkins, get sauce for my dry steak or clear our table.
I’m never coming here again. It’s terrible!

This dennys has horrible customer service. My family and I literally had to wait 1 hour and a half to be seated and now that were seated weve waited atleast 45 mins for our food. So annoyed.
++ to add when I ordered my food the lady kept saying that they ran out of alot of things since it was vday last night. I had to order something else and so did my family because almost everything «ran out»

The food was on time and everything was exactly the way we ordered it thanks to our excelellent waiter Jose. Took a while to get serviced due to the location being understaffed. But otherwise great.

Terribly slow service!
The «manager» (short chubby guy) expressed his frustration through facial emotions. He did nothing to help his team.
The food was bland and cold.
Never ever ever coming again!

Dont come here late night, they seem to run out of everything you order and forget your order as well. Pretty bad service overall the guy name juan served us and forgot our order… :(

Arrived at around 6am. I wasn’t seated let alone greeted. The food came out pretty quick, another server took on the responsibilities of helping me. I waited 10 minutes to get a check and that is why I’m giving them 1 star.

I had the ultimate omelette!
Had the best service customer service from Julia! I have never received such great service. Julia anticipated what I needed. I really appreciated her work! Thank you!

So unorganized, there was no host to get seated! HORRIBLE! Never coming here ever again

We always get to be seated really quick. It gets kind of busy, so you’ll have to flag your waitresses or waiters more than twice. Very friendly staff though… and the food is decent Dannys food.

Good service to begin with, but like any other Denny’s I believe that the atmosphere has to be more vibrant. Otherwise, they seated me immediately and made me feel welcomed. I usually come to this place for their fast service

I went there with my fiancée a few weeks back and not only did we wait 15 minutes to be seated in that mess of a waiting line, but they seated us in the back area where no server was at, our server never came and was obviously unaware of where his section was, so another server picked up his section. She was nice and served us. Our food was luke warm at best and the plate wasn’t even filled. For what I paid we could have bought the food ourselves and cooked it. She forgot to refill our drinks too.
I made a complaint and they asked for a receipt and all this proof like It was a murder investigation. I gave her my receipt number and name of the alleged server but no one ever called me back or apologized to us. I’ll never eat there again. Horrible service. Get it together people.

Our waitress took off without saying anything, the next waiter was overwhelm. Our order was all messed up. And it took 5 min to get Italian dressing. Severely understaff. Never will I step in to this treachery of an establishment.

The server was great, the food not so good. Ordered salmon with rice. The salmon was dry, the rice was a bit cold and hard. The broccoli was very cold. I had better salmon somewhere else.

I was really hungry one morning and looking forward to eating. It was 2:30 in the morning so my choices were limited. I knew Denny’s was open so I figured why not it’s ²⁴⁄₇ and I can sit down and enjoy a nice meal. Boy was I wrong.
I walked in the door and waited to be seated. A few minutes later the manager comes over and tells me that they are closed because they’re cleaning the kitchen. I said aren’t you supposed to be open 24 hours a day? His abrupt response: «There’s a Denny’s in Downey.» I responded, «and what if I drive all the way there only to find out that their kitchen is closed as well?» Without missing a beat he says, «we’ll be open in an hour.» Sounds to me like he is pretty comfortable turning away business; he almost enjoys delivering bad news.
So instead of wasting any more of my own time, I left. I could’ve stayed to argue with him, but it wasn’t worth it.
That could have been the end of the story right there. But instead, I am just too nice of a guy and returned another day in order to give this Denny’s a fair chance. What a mistake that turned out to be. My second trip there only solidified my one star rating.
To make a long story short, here are the bullet points from my second trip there:
— They directed me to a counter seat with no place setting or silverware. Fifteen minutes later I still did not have anything so I had to grab the setting next to me.
— They charged me for bread even though I was originally told it was included in the meal.
— I unfortunately was served (and attempted to eat) the worst chicken fried steak of my life.
— I was pretty much ignored by the wait staff and the same rude manager.
So there you have it, the one and a half star rated Denny’s off of Firestone. How it got that half star remains a mystery.

There is not much open late in the area so Denny’s it is. When we walked in at 2am it was quite packed! Everyone had the same idea as us, FOOD!!!
We were seated immediately and brought our drinks right away. We girls took a little while browsing through the menu while talking about our night! Our server was patient and kind as we were so indecisive. I settled for the Bacon Avocado Breakfast Burrito with hashbrowns while my friends opted for a turkey burger and the other a bacon avocado burger. The food was ok but when you are hungry you will eat just about anything!
The service here was great, our food didn’t take long and our drinks were refilled often. I am sure we were quite obnoxious because we were loud and laughing but no one seemed to mind.
This place is ok in my book. There’s plenty of parking, restrooms are clean, food is ok, and they never close.
