The Hungry Fox Caterers

It doesn’t get any better than this! The food is amazing and the owners are absolute darlings. I have been conducting business with them for years and they continue to amaze me with their new recipes and their high level of professionalism. They take pride in everything they do and this is why they continue to be voted the best on the north shore.

I was/​am so disappointed in this business. I thought for sure their food would be fabulous because my husband said his family ordered from them in the past. We ordered from The Hungry Fox in June and received greasy, translucent vegetables. Slimy rice. The only meal I liked was the orange chicken. I was in the mindset that having food catered would take a load off my shoulders and was willing to pay the $ 400 for 4 items. Plus, my husband gave a $ 25 tip! No one ate the food. I dumped the veggie platters. One was a veggie antipasto that looked exactly liked the grilled veggie platter. I kept the platters of rice in my fridge as proof that the food went untouched. I decided to leave a message with the owner only asking for ½ the money back and she would not budge.-Thought about not even giving a poor review on Unilocal because some people are so harsh. I even explained to her that I felt bad about telling her her food was inedible. I ended up hanging up on her on the phone because I realized she felt I was just after money. Clearly, if I could afford $ 400 of food in the first place, it was not about the money. It’s about poor customer service. She could have said, I’m not comfortable about giving you your money back, but maybe there is another way to keep you as a customer. I would have been more appreciative. I do not believe people call often to complain for the heck of it. I am not one of those people. While I realize she put a lot of effort in preparation of the food, I just can not sympathize because that is the nature of her business.

the hungry fox caterers are great! your go-​to caterers for the north shore. my family has worked with them a few times and we have always been pleased with their service. plus, their food is delish.
