This is amazing independent bookstore run by loving owners who are very helpful at helping you find exactly what you’re looking for. My personal interest is the Civil War, American History and rare and antique books and they have a wonderful collection of these. It’s a great used bookstore that South Haven can be really proud of. If you love books, you need to visit this place and you’ll be glad you did!

Lovely selection and location. I picked up a couple of books by local authors, enjoyed meeting the owner and look forward to my next visit. Great place to hang– too bad there’s no café near by as it would make things perfect

one of the best used bookstores that I’ve been to. A great selection of books on all subjects, plus a particularly good selection of books about the state of Michigan. Warm and inviting atmosphere. My only complaint is that the prices are rather high.

Nice little used(& new) bookstore. Good selection in the kids area, especially the new items. Prices for used books are on the higher end($ 5 for The Foot Book hardcover in decent condition) but everything was very well organized. Enjoyed visiting with their dogs(with book themed names) Booker & Dewey, too!

A real gem in such a small city. Some college buddies and I meet about once a year at a cabin on a lake that one of them owns about 20 miles east of South Haven. We always go in to town to visit this absolutely great used book store. They have some selected new books as well. Other than mass-market paperbacks(the«standard format» ones) that are just $ 2.00 each, this is not a «cheap» used book store. However, they books themselves are of exceptional quality, and the selection is amazing across so many subjects. It’s a pleasure just to browse the store for an hour or so, but I always try to buy at least one book each time I visit. This store rivals even chain huge used book stores like Half Price Books(which I also enjoy) because the quality of the selections is absolutely top-notch. The owner is a great guy as well. And it seems like his dog is always in the store as well — a great dog.
