Even though this is not a standard salon, the work she does is far above any other place in SLT. I’d trade a massaging chair for her quality of work any day.

Absolutely the best place to get your nails done in Lake Tahoe. Lillian is amazing! Besides working wonders in her cute little salon, Lillian uses excellent products that get excellent results. Lillian’s Sun and Nails is THE spot to go for some proper pampering!

I just enjoyed a well-​deserved week of vacation at The Ridge Resort high in the mountain above Lake Tahoe. One of my favorite finds was Lillian. She was a delightful person and her services exceeded my expectations.
Have thin & cracking nails that were wrecked from gels. She did wonders with my damaged nails. I picked a golden metallics for my pedicure that looked great. As a youth, I lost the toenail of the large toe on my right foot and it does look a bit odd with color on the other 9 toes… but what can you do? Lillian wasn’t satisfied with the look & glued little sparklers onto that big toe. Can not believe how cute & complete it looks. 4 days later and they still look good.
Also got the full body Infinity sun spray and I love it, Am very fair-​skinned and came home with a natural-​looking vacation tan!
She recommended a couple of local business place that also led me to try other local business. I felt a connectedness to Lake Tahoe that I never had before.
However, the greatest take away I got from Lillian is that we must be kinder to one another. Definitely will book with her whenever in Lake Tahoe and would recommend her to family and to friends.

I went here a few days before my wedding to get a spray tan. Lillian was very nice but I didn’t expect for the spray booth to be in her house. She was feeling sick so we delayed my appointment but she was very understanding when on top of delaying the appointment, I was running late. Lillian was great, chatty, and recommended products but was not pushy about them. The tan looked great for the wedding and was very happy overall! Just be aware you’ll be going to her house to get your spray tan.

I’m the granddaughter of the previous poster and I have to say that Lillian is what every Tahoe bride needs. She helped me to relax ad let to of the little things that stress out every bride. All while making my nails beautiful. My now husband was especially fond of my purple party nails!

Fabilious! Stepping into the salon is like stepping into a spring flower garden. The aroma therapy Lillian uses permeates the room. My eldest granddaughter was getting married and I wanted to treat her and her bridesmaid, her sister, to a mani/​pedi. They were so pleased she did all natural no chemicals. Lillian pampered them! When I picked them up 3 hours later their nails and toes looked beautiful. They were also extremely happy with the conversation they had while getting pampered. I would highly recommend Lillian. From my view point, Lillian made my granddaughters experience one they will always treasure. Thank you Lillian. I look forward to visiting Tahoe again and making an appointment with Lillian.

I was vacationing in Tahoe for the Thanksgiving holiday. My mother-​in-​law wanted us to get pedicures. I looked to Unilocal to find a place in South Lake and found Lillian’s had great reviews and decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed! Lillian is a wonderful lady and did a great job! Lillian, thanks for fitting us in and the great conversation while we were there — we had a wonderful time! By the way, we ended up having dinner at Scusa’s and had the lobster ravioli appetizer that you recommended and you were right — they were delicious! Looking forward to visiting you again next time I’m in the area!

What a wonderful experience having a mani & pedi done by Lillian. From the moment I stepped into her shop I felt so comfortable and welcomed. She gave me great tips on how to care for my aching feet. Lillian is the most amazing woman on top of being extremely skilled and gifted with nails and toes. She is the best priced in town. Her studio is adorable, clean and convenient.

Just had my first pedi/​mani at Lillian’s and totally loved it. I’ve been in Tahoe many years and don’t know why I didn’t know about this place. The shop was so cute and clean and my pedi/​mani looks and feels great. I will no longer be going to these other nail salons who are in such a big hurry to get you in and out and could care less about the job they did!

My fiancé and I decided to elope in Lake Tahoe. My mother, my sister, and I picked a random nail salon in the Lake Tahoe area to have a little «lady fun» before the ceremony and we had no idea how amazing our experience was going to be! Lillian was welcoming, warm, and a ton of fun! We gave us each the time and attention needed to get pretty manicures and pedicures. She even gave us advice on how to keep our nails healthy and what sites we should visit on our trip. We would definitely recommend Lillian. You will have a blast. Love ya Lil!

Lillian is the best in Tahoe! Her salon is clean cozy and inviting and her manicures and spray tans are always fantastic with long lasting results. Lillian is one the most hard working, genuine and caring people I have had the pleasure of getting to know. I am very picky when it comes to spray tans & have had many in the past — none of which conpare to lillians. Her spray tans are truly the best! The color is natural and leaves you with the perfect glow. I am now a regular — I guarente if you haven’t been to Lillain before go & you wil be hooked! The attention to detail you will recieve with her services is unmatchable!

Lillian is a DOLL!!! I was in Tahoe for my honeymoon. I broke my leg 25-​hrs in (yay!). I had scheduled a photo shoot to take wedding pictures later that week and wanted a spray tan. Well now with a cast on and unable to walk I wasn’t sure what I could do. I called this place and she was so accommodating. She recommended this spray on the go stuff which is the same stuff she uses in her salon. She even said if I wasn’t able to come get it and she didn’t have any late appts the next day she would come to me and do it. She doesn’t offer mobile service but b/​c of my circumstances she was so sweet and was trying to help. I ended up going to her and had my husband drive me. I would highly recommend her. I haven’t had any services done directly by her but her personality and sweet demeanor won me over.

Lillian is the absolute best. I live in Tahoe keys but would make the commute because of her incredible personal touch and welcoming environment. I definitely recommend Lillian for all of her services!

I found this place through Unilocal and I am so glad I did! Lillian is the most amazing lady. You will feel incredibly pampered and taken care of. Plus the space is so adorable and relaxing. It is in the Keys district so it is away from the tourist hustle and bustle (which is incredibly desirable.) As a Tahoe property owner I don’t really like to go to the hotels for manicures or tans. They are just way too overpriced. Lillian’s prices are the same as the bay area and it feels good to support another Tahoe local. I can’t wait to go back to see her. I felt like I made a new friend.

Ms. L. took great care of me when I was 2 weeks over due. Fat, pregnant, swollen ect. She gave me the BEST foot and leg massage. And the best part was my polish lasted until my baby was almost 2 months old. Granted it was grown out but the polish it self lasted.
Also, I had Lillian come to my girlfriends house to do a bachelorette party! She is a riot! Fit in like she was best friends with all of us! And what can i say it was a treat to have our nails done while drinking wine with your best girls. If I could do it every month I would.

After I leave this place, not only do my nails look fabulous, but I have a huge smile on my face from all the laughs that we shared while I relaxed my feet in a tub of rose petals and chatted with Lil. She’s amazing with reasonable prices and my polish stays on for months! Also, her little pugs are adorable!

It’s been several years since I first started going to Lillian, and I MUST say that her services are still top notch! To the reviewer who complained about no soaking — this is Tahoe, dear, and our skin is dried out enough without soaking in soapy water. Lillian knows how to take care of our skin & the wonderful exfoliation she does make me hands tingle & glow.
