Starting to become a Sunday tradition for brunch. Everything here is great. Breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

I was on my way home from Tai Chi on a Saturday afternoon and starving. I turned off of US1 and saw this little street with cute side walk restaurants and decided to try out Deli Lane for brunch. Although the place was jumping packed, I was seated as I walked in. I was seated next to the kitchen where the plates go off to the tables and I have to say, I do not suggest that spot. You could hear the employees call out the orders and the clankering of the dishes and clinking of the flatware. The waitress«Toni» was very nice and fast. She was very attentive, refilled my coffee twice — yes I love coffee — and kept my water topped off as well. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict. It was cooked to perfection. The yolk was runny just the way I like it and the whites were perfectly cooked yet soft and bouncy. I will definitely go back to this restaurant but I will sit somewhere else.

This place was delicious especially for the price. Everyone was pretty easy going, they had a lot of non meat options for my fragile butthole. I had the bean burger and it was delicious for a healthy non meat option. I thank you and my butthole thanks you.

This is my go to place! Been coming here for over 10 years. Staff is friendly and the food is good. The mighty wrap is one of my favorites and it is healthy.

Ventured out from a hotel looking for a good breakfast, and enjoyed our meal very much. Typical breakfast offerings, which was what we wanted. My husband had an egg sandwich and raved about the rye bread and the breakfast potatoes. I had the waffle special, which I altered a bit to make it a bacon waffle with sliced bananas on top. It was hot and crispy, as I had hoped. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The service was good. Prepare to pay $ 1.50 an hour to park on the street out front.

First time coming here, I have to say the servers presentation wasn’t very up to pare. She looked tired and annoyed and that definitely showed when taking our orders. Luckily we started off with mimosas that were made just right! I decided to order the buffalo chicken salad with a side of blue cheese and hot sauce. The salad was exactly what I hoped for it to be. The buffalo chicken was fried just to perfectly without tasting like a bunch of fried food. Unfortunately my friend didn’t think the same, she ordered the«award winning fruit pancakes» when I tell you these pancakes came with a one slice of banana and one strawberry I mean it. There were a couple strawberries in the middle of the three pancakes but they the time she got to them they were warm and soggy causing the last pancake at the bottom to be soggy to the point of not eating.

I have been coming to Deli Lane since I was just a little girl. For breakfast they have the best zucchini nut muffins and Belgian waffles. If you’re looking for a late night bite their salmon sandwich is the way to go. Another plus is they’re pet friendly! Deli Lane has always been a popular and very busy spot here in the SOMI area. I decided to take my grandmother and mom out to brunch so we arrived around 11:45. It was full, but we were seated inside right away. Our waitress was very cut and dry with us; honestly we barely saw her. We had to ask for some water to be brought to us while we looked at the menu and then fresh coffee followed right after. To hold us we ordered a fresh bowl of fruit. My mother ordered an omelette and my grandmother got the platter with pancakes and scrambled eggs with sausage. I got an eggs Benedict. Our meals took well over 45 minutes to come out. Mom and grandma got their plates first minus the toast that didn’t come till we asked for it several times. By the time the plates came our coffees were cold and when I asked for fresh coffee the waitress only brought one cup instead of three. When my dish came out it was cold! I was starving and pretty disappointed. After my plate was taken back I waited approx 20 minutes for a fresh plate. When my plate arrived there was hair in my hollandaise sauce :(my mother took the plate to the counter. I was so upset I ended up eating a piece of cold toast and my grandmothers left over scrambled eggs. My meal was discounted from the tab plus an extra percentage off. All that is well and dandy, but I don’t get to take my 80 year old grandmother out often and my family Sunday brunch was pretty rotten. It’ll be a while before I go back to Deli Lane.

Craving breakfast for dinner or lunch? Deli Lane is your local diner that won’t let you down. Friendly staff will seat you inside or out and serve you breakfast all day long. If you also want to hear live music, check out their website as they have it on certain week and weekend nights too! Prices are reasonable and your server will fix you up with any side dishes or anything extra you might need. Out door dinning is on cobbled bricks that bear the names of donors. Ask for their Cross Fit menu if you want to see a few other healthy options. I ordered the Cross Fit egg white omelette which had spinach, red onion, sun dried tomatoes and topped with avocado and I chose a side of berries instead of the bowl of oranges that normally comes with the order. Fred had the same and a side of New York strip served medium rare. Everything hit the spot perfectly as a great breakfast should. We will definitely be back!

Deli Lane is in my ears, it’s in my eyes! There beeee-neath the blue So-Mi skies! I sit and meanwhile back! I always did like that Beatles tune. Sooooo, what can I say that hasn’t been said already. This place is an institution in downtown South Miami. The food is consistently good, the location affords you a shady spot to have brunch on Sunday without fighting the crowds, and while there are a few issues, the service is almost always very good. The menu has options for the healthy eater, the bacon lover, the«I’m cheating on my diet this weekend» warrior, and the«likes to play mix and match with the menu». In case you’re wondering, that would be me… The staff is friendly and accommodating with special requests. The kitchen does try to keep pace with the patrons and the food doesn’t take a long time to arrive. This gives you more time to relax and enjoy that third cup of coffee with your Sunday paper. Once you’ve come here a few times, the waiters get to know you a little better and anticipate your needs. I rarely ask for coffee or cream anymore. For those first time diners, I say go with the classic eggs benedict, the house potatoes and a side of bacon. Unless of course you’re watching your figure. Then go with some turkey bacon… PS. — If you sit outside you can enjoy a nice cigar with your coffee too!

First of, such a great family place to have brunch. The day was as gorgeous as the colder weather itself. The deli is part of sunset tavern, which in itself is a gem during the weekends. My wife and in laws decided to have brunch/breakfast here. Could the picked a better place to announce to them that we’re having a baby. Breakfast was hardy, fresh and very delicious. I ordered the egg pie with peppers, onions, beans and cheese. Super delicious! My wife order d eggs Benedict with or age juice, while my in laws ordered pancakes and three eggs. As brunch progressed I noticed it would be the perfect oriented family venue to announce our pregnancy. It went off as planned, both parents were stunned but very happy. Couldn’t have picked a better day/place to announce our big news. Highly recommended for brunch and lunch.

We come here all the time. Today I had the egg static and found out I can switch the house potatoes for the tater tots! They are incredible, go with that! Everyone else enjoyed their meals too!

I enjoy deli lane. Specially today with this wonderful weather. They have brunch till 3p and they have some delicious healthy meals. They also just added a paleo menu which I love. I always have a problem with the cleanliness though. Best dish by far French toast!

Went here for a lunch with wife and mother-in-law. The surrounding area is really nice, and if it’s not too hot or humid, I would sit outside. The inside is ok, looks like a combination between a sports bar and a Denny’s. The service was pretty good; our waitress was very attentive and polite. The food was ok. I’m from NY and had the Reuben sandwich which was average. The prices are in line with typical sandwiches. I hear the brunch is better. Probably wouldn’t eat here again, but not a bad place if you are in the area.

The place is located In a beautiful area. Sit outside if it’s a nice breezy day. The service was okay. The server we had was very nice but was forgetful. My friend ordered mimosa and didn’t get it until after her food. We ordered the club sandwich(which was typical good sandwich), the breakfast sandwich(it was average something that you could’ve made at home), and the chicken finger wrap(was okay). I would go back maybe one more time.

This place is located near the Baptist hospital, so a good option if you need!!! Service is above average. I ordered a tuna wrap that was ok, maybe they should spice up the tuna salad, but it was ok. The ceasar salad was also ok. They have diet coke from the fountain. There were several parking spots on the front, so not a big hassle. Enjoy

Deli Lane is one of our go-to spots for brunch. Whether it’s just my husband, daughter and I, or a group of friends, the wait is never too long and the service is usually ok. Breakfast is pretty good(never gone for lunch or dinner), and while they have healthy options, I usually stick to the traditional Benedict or egg sandwich. Either one never disappoints and a plus is that their mimosas are a generous serving at a fair price. Bloody Mary’s are also pretty good. This place is also very dog friendly. They always bring our dog, a dog bowl full of iced water.

A friend and I went to see a 7 p.m. movie at Sunset Place on a recent Thursday night, and decided to walk around the area and find a place to have dinner afterward. When we rounded the corner near Deli Lane, we noticed that it had a lot more patrons than most of the other restaurants in this area. They had plenty of outdoor seating, the weather was perfect and the menu had a decent variety so we decided to stop here. We asked one of the servers if we could sit at any of the open tables; she said we could, but tried to direct us to a large table near the front entrance. We decided to get one of the smaller tables for 2 out closer to the street. Within a few moments we were given menus, a manager stopped by to ask if we’d been served yet, and our server arrived to take our drink and appetizer orders. Service all night was just about right; Attentive without being annoying. Plates were cleared away nearly as soon as we were done with them, and our soft drinks were topped off as needed. So why only 2 stars? Both of us were disappointed in the blandness and lack of flavor in nearly everything we ordered. We shared the pow pow shrimp as a starter. It was good, but most of the flavor came from the dressing that was drizzled on, not necessarily from the seemingly pre-breaded/frozen shrimp. For my main course, I ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla. Both the quesadilla(filled with bits of chicken and some kind of processed cheese that had hardened by the time my food was delivered) and the salsa served with it were flavorless. My friend had the tortellini alfredo. He said it was a bit too rich, a bit too heavy and the dish overall was a bit too plain. He said it could’ve maybe benefitted from the inclusion of some vegetables. Prices here seem reasonable, but then again, considering the lack of taste and flavor and the fact that both of us walked away unimpressed with our meals, I guess we got what we paid for The pow pow shrimp appetizer, quesadilla, tortellini and 2 iced teas came to about $ 45 before gratuity.

Great place and location. Very friendly staff and very professional. Went for breakfast and had the power breakfast. Consisted of 2 eggs, ham, breakfast potatoes, toast, &2 pancakes. All for $ 6.50. Great deal and more important it was very good. Only drawback is the off street parking. Still worth going there.
