Do not see this physician. If you are thinking about it, don’t. Going with him was the worst decision I ever made.

Horrible. Dr. Horst works with about 5 other doctors. The first visit was wonderful. after which I think there is a bit of a bait and switch. I understand that all patients need to be rotated around all the doctors because there is no guarantee when the baby will come… But after the first visit (which is on time and a long visit)… all subsequent visits were at least 45 mins late. Once I had to wait 1.5 hours… eventually when I did get to see the doctor, I never received an apology. I wish I had changed practice!
While Dr. Horst is great, I found some of the other doctors he worked with to be unprofessional. The nurses were generally indifferent or just rude.
This is a very large practice and I never felt any personal serviced (after the initial visit).
I have since had 2 more children (total 3)… with other OBs: Dr Robert Feldman and Lisette Molina. I would highly recommend those doctors. They are at another practice. but very close to Dr. Horst’s office. Much smaller, much more efficient and personal.

My experience with Dr. Horst was like one in the movies. I met all the Dr’s in his practice except him throughout my pregnancy. I went to the hospital a couple days before my due date and was told that my bp was too high and the baby had to come out. Of course my doctor was on vacation! I needed to have a CSection and I was extremely nervous, Dr. Horst had accomplished something that no other doctor had done; he calmed me down by EXPLAINING EVERYTHING.
My c-section was actually fun. We listened to music, spoke about TV shows and I completely forgot that I was in surgery. My son was delivered by an outstanding team and I am forever grateful to them.
Dr Thomas Horst is a very sincere doctor, humble and does not put down his patients, like most Dr’s. He has great bedside manners, was humorous and a great surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Horst in fact if and when I’m ready for #2 Dr Horst is my go to guy!!!
