I purchased a gift card from Bungalow1026 and for two days Christopher and I went back n forth to find a time I could pick up the gift card. Well finally, Christopher offered to personally deliver the gift card himself after a long day of work. I’m in the customer service industry myself and I know this meant Christopher likes to truly take care of his customer and ensure happiness with each transaction! Thank you again Christopher. Christopher is AMAZING!!! Everything about Bungalow 1026 is warm and inviting, truly a skin sanctuary. He uses wonderful products and your skin will be glowing after you leave. He is such a lovely person which makes the experience all the more rewarding.

Christopher is amazing! The best facials ever — experienced, excellent technique and touch, enthusiastic about his work and clients and not pushy about product sales. And, the location is convenient and yet secluded. We’re lucky to have him in our South Pasadena/​Pasadena area.

I was having problems with an eczema related facial breakout a while back and had an amazing sensitive facial and feel done with Chris which totally resolved the problem within a few days! I also bought a facial serum and toner that I believed helped loads with my after care

Christopher was so nice! I was in desperate need of a facial as I had started breaking out in a few problem areas. He took his time to really care for my face and thoroughly explained the process to me, which I really appreciated. The water and cookies afterwards was a nice touch too! Will definitely be back.

I used to see Christopher when he worked at the Dtox Spa in Los Feliz and was so disappointed when he left, but was thrilled to find out he now had his own place here at Bungalow 1026 (and what a charming place it is!). As other reviewers have said, Christopher really is the best! He is not only incredibly nice, but also very knowledgeable. He has great product suggestions, but is never pushy about it. It is such a treat to visit Bungalow 1026. I’ve come to get the microdermabrasion with fruit peel facial twice now and I love how my skin glows when I walk out. Just don’t pass it by – look for the little easel on the sidewalk.

Christopher is the best! My facial and microdermabrasion treatments were great! Treat yourself to a facial today. It is really a lovely space, a good value and the treatments are top rate!

Christopher came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. He is great and his line and services are all so affordable. He is an expert at what he does, and I love the comfy chairs and the robe and the blankets. I was so relaxed at the end. My skin looked great for weeks afterward – in fact, it still looks great over a month later. I found scheduling such a breeze too which is critical given my work load.

Chris has shaped, tweezed, waxed, and trimmed my eyebrows two times. Each time, I have been so impressed with his attention to detail and the time he takes to deliver a great service with a great look.
He follows the natural contours of your eyebrows and does a great job cleaning up the aberrant hair, and tweezing the follicle that seems a bit out of bounds, all while paying attention to your natural brow line.
I appreciate that he has never over-​tweezed/​waxed my eyebrows but at the same time, has always delivered a clean, polished finish!

I had my first facial last week with Christ. I have to tell you that he is AMAZING! It was a lovely and cozy room and Christ really worked on my acne skin. One of the best facials I have even had. My skin looks a lot better three days after the facial, cuz it takes few days for my skin redness. You will not be disappointed at this place. Definitely recommended and for sure I will come back again!

Christopher Watt is really something else. I have been struggling with somewhat severe adult acne for over 2 years, especially when I eat sugar/​processed foods (hello, inflammation!). I have tried EVERYTHING from not using chemical detergent on my towels to benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, different combinations of treatments, you name it: I have been a desperate woman. I have seen Chris 3 times and each time have seen significant results. This third time must have really done it because I went from having 1 – 2 new pimples per day to having NOT ONE since my last visit which was about 2 – 3 weeks ago. UN-​BELIEVABLE. My scars are fading, I am so grateful.
Another thing I really like about Chris is that he won’t do a treatment if he thinks it may be too harsh, given other products I am using. A lot of people will take the money and destroy your skin, but I truly appreciate his erring on the side of safety. He always has great tips for homemade zit-​zappers and such.
I love this new space he is in, he has really done a great job of decorating and making it comfortable for clients, but really it’s about him and his service/expertise…I would follow him anywhere!

Christopher recently opened Bungalow 1026 in South Pasadena after working on faces (including some very famous ones!) on the West Side for many years. He is a fastidious and talented esthetician and his new location is clean, warm, and welcoming. On my first visit he listened carefully to my concerns and designed a special set of treatment steps for my sensitive, dry, eczema-​prone skin.
I returned to Chris about a month later for a «tune-​up.» This time I brought my 20-​year-​old daughter with me. Her acne-​prone skin has some scarring, and Chris worked carefully on a customized treatment for her. We both left with glowing skin.
We drive a half hour to get to Chris, and it is totally worth it. I’m hooked. I’m very fussy about quality and customer service, particularly when it comes to my personal care. Chris is a joyous practitioner of his craft. I recommend Bungalow 1026 highly
