Came in for the burger pie combo. Waiter has only come once to refill my drink. Have been waiting about 30 minutes for him to come by and ask if I am ready for my pie. Will not be coming back to this Carrows.

I ordered the top sirloin steak and eggs. I ordered the steak medium rare. What I received was a steak so rare, a skilled veterinarian could have still saved it. Seriously, though, this thing was undercooked. I didn’t see my waitress, but I spotted the manager sitting somebody so I got his attention. I politely asked him to have them cook a little longer, as the steak was still on the rare side. he took it, and I heard the cook tell him that it was medium rare. it is worth mentioning that I was clear across the restaurant, and I should not have been able to hear the chef protest unless he was being louder than necessary. for me, the stake issue is forgivable, and that alone only makes me deduct one star. Upon the first bite, however, it was woefully apparent that this was not a top sirloin steak. I should have known this by the cut alone, since I have worked in a butcher shop. It lacked the texture, grain, and, most importantly, the flavor of a top sirloin. I strongly suspect that this may have been flank steak. And there go a couple more stars. The final insult of this meal was the English muffin I had been looking forward to. Somehow, a large portion of the bottom had been burned. I suspect that the toaster needs a serious cleaning. After finishing the first half of the English muffin, I noticed a very bitter burnt flavor, and further noticed that my fingers were covered in soot! Don’t worry, I am leaving evidence as I took several pictures to documents my culinary tale of woe. As I write this, I am experiencing many sharp stomach pains, which may necessitate me to find and use the appropriate facilities. Fear not, I will not be documenting this for the review.

This is my new favorite place to sit and work on my laptop. Free wifi, yummy diner food and comfy diner seating! Plus I get to hang out with the old folks as they read the paper while listening to random cheesy music. And enjoy my eggs, bacon and potatoes for $ 6.49. This is way better than sitting on an uncomfortable chair sipping a $ 10 chai at a snooty café. Oh! And there’s a claw machine for winning stuffed animals — one of my favorite things in life. Five snaps up in a circle for Carrow’s. I haven’t even tasted the food yet but I’m sure it’s fine, it’s eggs and potatoes, whatever.

This place is seen when I was high school. They keep change their menu — so fast, but still Cheap for family restaurant food :) They open 24 hours until 2014. But now they change their open time. But still people use for late food :) !! In fact they change their food taste every single day(maybe cooker, but not sure). Haha. But still fine for me — cause they are only late restaurant in this area! 2016: $ 13.99 !!! Open hour; change !

We were starving after our workout and this place is super close to Mission Street Yoga. Every time we pass by this place, they look busy but we got seated right away. They have tables or booths or counter to sit at. The booth we were seated at was towards the back which was nice because it was less crowded and less noise. The menu was a little sticky which I can’t stand. The waitress took our order right away and the food came out soon after. Presentation good. Tastes great. My only gripe is that we didn’t get our water glasses filled sooner. Big, private parking lot. Definitely will be back.

Needed a quick breakfast between meetings and settled on Carrow’s. Never had been here, but popular amongst some of the local teens & elderly. Seriously. Conveniently located on the corner of Fremont & Mission. Huge parking lot. At the breakfast hour on a weekday, it was filled with senior patrons(those teens better be in school). We were seated and brought a couple of waters quickly. I was concerned we’d be able to make it thru in time for the next meeting. Breakfast? Classic Corn Beef Hash. Greasy? Yep. Salty? Yep. Comfort Breakfast? Yep. Wasn’t healthy for me, but it WAS what I was looking for. Best part? We made it with time to spare to next meeting and full bellies. Mission accomplished.

This should receive a call to the health board — they served me green prime rib!!! The waitress put the plate down in front of me and I noticed it had an odd smell. After I tried a very small bite I turned the prime rib over to look at the other side… it was actually gray and green — look at the picture! That picture is of the GOOD side of the prime rib! After I pointed this out to the waitress she took it away and I ordered something else to eat — at no time did a manager come over to check in with me or apologize for the issue and they did not even offer any discounts. Very lacking in customer service and I will never return!!!

Food much improved. Substitutions allowed! Other diners can’t compare in price and quality. Minus one star because up until recently were advertising they’re 24⁄7 open.(While in reality closing is at 2am). Plus there is a tacky cover over the 24 hours open notice. Also the seats were not visually appealing; there were stains on the old fashioned fabric booth seats. Looked like dirty wallpaper. The coffee was so so which is a bummer because my coffee machine at home isn’t working but the thick warm maple syrup for the pancakes made up for it. Delicious!

Saturday morning breakfast! Pro– staff is nice and friendly as always especially to my son. We sat at the bar and the chef made my son monkey shaped pancake! We like the supreme skillet and steak & eggs! Con– they took the breakfast burrito off the menu! Very sad!

Food was good, small portions though. I ordered the lumberjack plate and the eggs were tiny and not fully cooked. Country potatos were good. French toast was great.

I go here for two things: the California Benedict and the multigrain pancakes. Both are perfect. Get the Benedict with added spinach and the sauce on the side and you will be happy. Have the multigrain with sugar free syrup and you lessen the guilt. Friendly staff and seating is usually fast. Do you need much more for brunch? I don’t think so.

I literally come here at least twice a month, and the service today was beyond horrible. We waited at least 10 minutes before our waitress acknowledged us. She asked us what we wanted to drink and my family and I explained that we were waiting for ten minutes she then says«I’ll be right with you» DOESN’T GETOURDRINKORDERSDOWN but says«I’ll be right with you» after she just asked what we wanted to drink!!! The busboy Rigo had to get our drinks because she wasn’t paying any attention to us. Extremely slow, and horrible service. Despite our horrible service the food was good. I ordered the chorizo and eggs with country potatoes and flour tortillas. It’s actually really good, they even put queso fresco. It’s also very filling. But I’m giving two stars because the service was just ridiculous. I will not be back, such a shame this was one of my favorite restaurants . If you do decide to dine here ask for Mario, or Sal they give GREAT service. And Rigo is also an amazing help.

Mario gave us great service, very attentive. The food was tasty. We ordered the big greater breakfast with a side of hash brown and it was enough for two. –3 eggs –potatoes –2 turkey patties –2 pancakes –2 slices of toast. Will recommend this place for breakfast.

Prime rib gets 86’ed before the evening is done. but helpful service. 24hr restaurant is a perk. service holds together even under the late-night rush during Fri-Sun. Mediocre across the board, hence the score.

The service here isn’t necessarily bad, but the cunts that take your order here seem like they’re bored with their lives after a failed endeavor at Everest college. Ya, one of those. The food here is pretty awesome! Cream of broccoli is a must! Served daily! I used To go to IHOP but carrows just has such a huge selection that you can’t even give IHOP a second thought. Their fresh fruit here is perfection. OPEN24HOURS!!!

When there is a 40 minute wait at Mike and Anne’s and you’re starving, you mournfully head to Carrows. In my defense, I was with two hungry men who could care about the pizzaz in their food. Here is the rundown– I ordered the fried chicken salad. It was nothing to write home about, I prefer the salads at Denny’s better. I felt like I was eating fried chicken strips and a few pieces of lettuce that was mainly the tough hearts i dislike so much. The boys scarfed their meals down and I took the rest of my salad home with me. Despite my distaste for the fare, the place was packed(given, it was Sunday at noon). Parking can be troublesome, but there is always parking a few blocks down at the metro parking lot!
