Arceo’s Shotokan Karate

Arceo Shotokan Karate will give you a great knowledge of the art. You have great instructors that will show you the proper way to learn. Chief instructor Shihan Geng Arceo is very passionate about helping individuals learn and pass on the art. Great world champions have come out or still in the progress of being world champion in this dojo. This is also not just a school. Parents have bond together and have created a family atmosphere environment.

I moved to the area about a year ago and I had looked for somewhere to train ever since. I kept passing by the dojo on my way to the grocery store but was always anxious to walk in and see what it was about. One day I overcame that anxiety and I’m so glad that I did. From the first time I stepped on the mat I was treated like family. Sensei Arceo and his sons are all wonderful instructors and so are all the other black belts. They are respectful and obviously committed to and passionate about their art form. My only regret is that I didn’t start training there sooner.

My wife and I brought our Daughter to Sensei Arceo back in April of 2011 as a Purple belt from another part time school. Since then she has improved 100% because of the way they run there program. Sensei Arceo teaches along with his Black Belts & Brown belts who assist him in running the program. Its the connection they made with my daughter that has kept her Interested in the Martial Arts. They make it fun for the kids, the teens, & the Adults. They are the Best Competition School in our Area. There young Black Belts who Teach Hold World Titles in the Sport Karate Circuits such as (NBL) National Black Belt League, (BASKA) Bay Area Sports Karate Association, (GCC) The Gold Cup Cicuit (SKIL), & many More Open Tournament Circuits as well as The Traditional Tournament Circuits such as (Funikoshi), (AMAS), (Shinkyu), (JKF), (USANKF) & the (OZAWA Cup) Just to name a few.
There Black Belts are on 3 of the Best Sport Karate Teams in the World to Date,
They are (Team Proper) & (Team Quake City Hitters) & (Arceo’s Competition Team)
So its those Experienced Young Sensei’s, Teachers, Instructors that love Karate that love to teach & Compete that Inspired my daughter & all the other students.
As far as monthly fees go there less than the majority of all the schools in the area and offer 5 Days a week for there training Classes.
I recommend Arceo’s Shotokan Karate School for your Kids, Teens, Adults, Men & Women of all ages who are serious about Learning Karate and Becoming there best.

I disagree with the review below, I have been to this shotokan a couple times and even though they are young they know their information and are very dedicated to the art. The head sensei is very tough and knows how to maintain the shotokan appropriately. I also believe that the students feel more open and able to talk to the teachers better because they are not too far from their generations. Also, they are very professional when classes are in session.

took my son here for his first lessons… the teachers were nice… young (too young) but kinda knows how to teach kids his age…
major draw back… please tell those freakin noisy mothers to shut the f*%& up!!! i mean really, you’d think you were in a swap market. who cares where you buy your stuff… this is not the place for that. cant you read the big sign posted on the wall? please keep quiet when classes are in session… if you cant read it maybe i’ll plaster it next time to your mouth…
what does the young teachers do about the noise? nothing… they laugh with them sometimes too… nice.
