I first met Bobcha at SoMa StrEat Food Park. I had gone there because Senior Sisig was there and I had a craving. As I was walking around checking out the other trucks I stumbled across Bobcha. I love tacos and Bobcha had tacos. Why not, I’ll give them a shot and see what it’s all about. That’s how it all started. Now I faithfully stalk Bobcha around even more so than I did Senior Sisig. I love their taco’s also but what I love about Bobcha is that magic sauce. I really feel like that sauce should be put on everything I eat now. Pork Katsu, forget the katsu sauce gimme magic sauce! Bobcha is so nice that they leave a magic sauce bottle out so people can take a cup or two just in case you need extra… which I always do. This truck is definitely one of my most favorite trucks.

Got their bulgogi tacos. YUMYUM! So creative and bursts of flavor — it was good! One thing i thought was ehh was that there wasn’t any sour or acidic/fruity components on the tacos. Just creamy, savory, salty — it needed some lime or lemon or orange zest of something! Besides that, i would like to go back for the cup bob or burrito!

Got to try this wonderful food truck because of Off the Grid. I got the Cup Bob with spicy pork and spicy chicken over a bed of steamed rice and lettuce. Satisfying lunch for sure. Their«magic sauce» is excellent.

Here’s what you need to know about Bobcha. Do yourself a favor and get the kimchi fries — they are life-changing! I’m a huge fan of kimchi and bulgogi beef and potatoes are basically my favorite food group so it was worth giving them a shot. I am SO glad I did. Bulgogi beef, kimchi, melted cheese, magic sauce, and hot sauce. Sweet and spicy and savory. So like I said, get the kimchi fries, you won’t regret it!

All the meats here are quality and very well cooked. The sauces they come with are flavorful and well balanced. I especially like their hot sauce which has good kick and texture, a little grainy and heavy enough to coat but light enough to pour, and it has a hint of fermentation which I prefer over other which are usually in it. The meats come dressed any way you like it, bibimbap, burrito, taco, pretty much whatever you’d want. I prefer the cup bob without rice, plain and simple delicious meat on top a bed of lettuce.

My FLAVORITE food truck! My husband just shook his head when I said it, but I don’t care haha. I used to do the cup bob, beef, egg, white rice. Simple. Delicious.(I get mine without lettuce cause apparently I still eat like I’m 10.) It was so perfect for me, sweet, a dash of spicy, yum. It was perfect. One day I decided to try outside the box and into a burrito. Same stuff as the box but with Spicy Fried Rice and wrapped in a tortilla. I didn’t know it could get better, but it did and now I’m addicted. There is just so much delicious flavor and it’s easier to eat! No forks required. I mean yeah they are not cheap, typically food trucks are not cheap, but bobcha never makes me regret my decision. I don’t even live in the city, but I’ve been making more trips there lately. I had initially found them at the treasure island flea, and even though I was tempted to try them, skipped them, probably a couple of times. Eventually I thought, I’ll just try them. It’s actually both a blessing and a curse. They are just so good I don’t want to try any other truck.

After touring the ship from Fleet Week, my friend and I decided to get some food since we were starving. Luckily, there were food trucks nearby and decided to get Bobcha. What was confusing was that there were no prices on the menu… Wtf? We ordered two bulgogi beef burritos and two drinks and the price was unbelievable high. The lady who took our orders was rude as well which made our experience unfavorable. The only reason why this isn’t getting a 1 star was because the food was actually good. SUGGESTION: post prices.

I ordered the bulgogi kimchi fries and was disappointed. First let down, they use ground beef… and then cover it in weird, sweet wanna-be korean sauce. Then they add cheese… why add shredded cheddar cheese? Those things are on top of shredded lettuce that is now soggy. They should take the kimchi fries off the menu so people like me dont order it, hate it, then never try any of their other items out of fear its going to horrible like their kimchi fries. The fries themselves were made to order and tasty though.

Went to off the grid at fort mason last night and tried their bob tacos? I believe that’s what it was called. I got the spicy pork and it was sooo good! It came out to $ 7.34 for 2 tacos. Almost debated on getting some more before leaving to take home! Definitely coming back.

Visited San Francisco for my first time and was told to go to the food truck festival(Off the Grid) at Fort Mason. This food truck caught my eye so I decided to try something new… Ordered the Kimchi Fries and the Bobcha soft tacos. Bobcha Tacos were yummy… But The Kimchi Fries… OMG!!! The Kimchi Fries were delicious… I have never had them before so I have nothing to compare them to but let me tell you that I have been craving them ever since… So good and such a huge portion… Enough for 2 – 3 people… So good… Hope to find some good Kimchi fries here in Miami…

There are a ton of Korean fusion options around the city and sometimes it feels like Korean Tacos/Burritos are more common than Mexican ones. Hence, Korean fusion no longer gets the novelty star inflation and must be compared to other Korean fusion. I just felt this place was ok, hence the 3-star. Didn’t seem as flavorful as its competitors. Mandoooo~(sic): These are called potstickers on the menu, but they are clearly deep fried instead of steamed & seared(so they stick to a pot). Thin and long instead of typical dumpling shape. Average filling, but the creamy spicy dipping sauce was nice. Bulgogi Burrito: The smoky bacon flavor within the bacon rice really dominated the burrito flavor profile. At times it felt more Southern than Korean. A little bit too much lettuce for my tastes. The bulgogi was in long thing pieces; the meat was good quality but they could have used more sauce. Felt a bit bland overall, maybe kimchi should be a default instead of a possible upgrade?

I checked out Bobcha at Off the Grid in Fort Mason because I was curious to taste their Kimchee Fries. Hesitant at first at how expensive the fries are– they’re about $ 10 each– I still waited in line with my friend to get them anyway. Unfortunately, the line was hella long and it took us about 30 minutes before we could reach the front. After about 5 minutes of waiting, we were handed our glorious kimchee fries. I was actually surprised at how much they gave us! For 10 $, you do get your money’s worth from the large portion size. Unfortunately though, the kimchee just didn’t mix well with the fries. All the sauces together gave this interesting sweet flavor to the fries that just didn’t taste like a natural kimchee sauce. It wasn’t spicy nor was it flavorful. However, I did like the meat alongside the crispy fries but I probably wouldn’t waste my time waiting in line for Bobcha. Just a sidenote, I like how they tried adding«Bob» to all their dishes, but they could totally be more creative(like Bobrito), but who am I to judge? Eat well and prosper,

You’ve had kbbq and burritos separately I bet! Bobcha does you a favor and mush them together! And well. Its freaking amazing! Their Bob Burrito is a must have! It consists of spicy kimchi fried rice with their sweet beef bulgogi(or the meat of your choice! Vegetarian option also available) and lettuce — $ 9.75 But you definitely must get the additional topping of fried eggs — $ 1.00 in it because well. You just have to! This food truck is kind of like the Korean version of sushiritto or señor sisig, they’re all good! So you gotta try it when you go to Off the Grid! Cheers!

My mom, who is a very picky eater, loved their food! We’re Koreans so we know how korean food should be like, and this place definitely hit the spot! We got a cup bab and when we first heard it was $ 8.75, we kinda got hesitant cuz it was too pricey. However, it did not disappoint us at all! Worth a lot more! We asked to put bulgogi, kimchi(they give you more if you want), and spicy pork and it was an amazeball! Very juicy and the meats were all very tender. It was pretty big that my mom and I shared one bowl and we both got very full. The cashier was very friendly also. Highly recommend it!

Today was the first time I saw Bobcha at OTG Fort Mason so I decided to give it a try. There was not much of a line when I got there around 6:30 so that was nice. I ordered the Bob cup/bowl and picked beef bulgogi and pork katsu and my choice of meats. I upgraded my rice to the spicy bacon fried rice as well. All the meats were on the fatter side with a lot of visible fat. Some people like that, but I was not a fan. Despite that, the flavoring of the food was good and I had a pleasant experience. The price came out to about $ 10. I thought it was probably not worth that much. Maybe $ 8 – 9 would be more fair. I don’t know if I would want to come back, especially with so many tasty options at OTG.

W.O.W is all I can say about Bobcha! I saw them at Off The Grid: Fort Mason amongst the other food trucks & tents around, but this one caught my eye. Mexican w/Korean fusion — I had to try them out. I ordered their Kimchi Fries which was a popular thing on their menu. It came out fairly quick considering how busy they were at OTG, & after receiving my load of Kimchi fries & taking my first bite into it, I literally rolled my eyes in amazement! Fries were crispy&hot, cheese was gooey, kimchi added a nice crunch, bulgogi was tender & flavorful,& the magic sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. I ate the whole thing w/a happy smile on my face. Overall, awesome food! Would def like to come back to try out their other stuff. Definitely check them out!

I passed the Streat Food Park on my way home from San Francisco last week and just had to explore it the next time I was out here. We walked into the park and I quickly spotted two of my favorite things in the world fused together. I just had to try it. I ordered the Bulgogi Burger from Bobcha and I must say that this was one of the juiciest/tastiest burgers I have ever had. Despite what you may think from the name of the burger, there is in fact no Bulgogi steak in this dish. The hamburger patty is actually marinated in a Bulgogi sauce and you can tell with every bite. The toppings include shredded lettuce and finely grated cheese. For an extra charge you can add an egg. For 8.50 this is an amazing burger. My only complaint was that a side of fries is not included. Other than that, this is a must try the next time you see Bobcha around SF.

Korean take on a number of fast dining options e.g. burgers and burritos. We had a group of people here. Vegetable tempura was good and crispy. A bit heavy on the battering but tasty. I actually did the traditional bulgogi with beef. It was good with a nice selection of vegetables.

Making Mexican-[insert another cuisine here] fusion street tacos and burritos seems to be the norm for food trucks. Bobcha fulfills that concept with their Korean-style tacos and burritos. But they also offer burgers, nachos, fries, and the more conservative and traditional bibimbap. Unfortunately, if the«Bob Burrito» is reflective of the quality of Bobacha’s other menu items, then I doubt I’d revisit this food truck any time soon. For nearly $ 11, the Bob Burrito contains spicy bacon fried rice, lettuce, and a choice of meat. I chose beef bulgogi for my meat and added a fried egg for an additional $ 1. The egg was decent, but cooked to a medium-well. The bulgogi was tasty, but salty and extremely greasy. And the spicy bacon fried rice added just a mild kick, though I wish there were more bacon pieces. The«magic sauce» they slathered all over the meat in the burrito made the entire meal ridiculously greasy and heavy. I ended up tossing the tortilla wrap because it was saturated with so much oil. I feel like Bobcha lost all aspects of Korean food by drenching everything with their magic sauce. It was quite disappointing, as I thought I’d really enjoy their food.

It’s been a while since I last wrote my review for Bobcha, so I figured it’d be worth writing a update since I’ve stopped by a few more times to try their other menu items. I really like how they’ve completely expanded their menu and added more options to customize their food items. Now they have burgers, tacos, and kimchi fries, and even nachos! I’ve had their Cup Bob and their Bulgogi Burger. Both were pretty good and pretty satisfying. The Bulgogi Burger alone is a hearty meal even with it being without fries. Bulgogi Burger – Bulgogi Marinated Beef Burger with Cheese, Lettuce, and Magic Sauce This was one big and messy burger! Very juicy, though I didn’t really taste the Bulgogi marinade from the burger. Where Bobcha totally won me over was their Spicy Bacon Fried Rice and how they included it into their Bobcha Tacos. Bobcha Tacos with Bulgogi Chicken — 2 soft tacos with spicy bacon fried rice, choice of meat, lettuce, magic sauce, and onion. Because they included their spicy bacon fried rice, it definitely gave these tacos more substance and they didn’t skimp on the meat which was awesome. Every bite was full of bulgogi chicken and spicy bacon fried rice. No fillers. I’m definitely coming back for more of these! I’m glad to see that Bobcha has made these additions to their menu. It may be jumping the shark a little bit, but their flavors still very unique to differentiate themselves from all the other Asian fusion food trucks out there.
