I know the Cheung Hing on Noriega St in Sunset is really good so we thought this place was going to be the same. But unfortunately nope. They messed up the meat part on my dad’s rice plate, the broth of the noodle soups were bland, supposedly there’s a soup that comes with the rice plate(cause we saw the waitress give some other dude one, but they didn’t give us one til we asked about it), the restroom floor was covered in water, and some things took a long time to get to our table. The meat wasn’t even good at all. So much fatty parts than actual meat parts. Thumbs down.

The babecue items are good but I’m not a fan of the rest of the menu. It was just ok.

This place is really really really gross. The restaurant was very dirty. I had the sesame chicken it was so salty and smelled very strong. I’ve never been to a Chinese place this bad.

I absolutely love this place. I only get delivery, but the food is delicious. Just tried the limpid, my boyfriend, whose mom is from the Philippines was skeptical, but said it was delicious. Tried the bbq pork chow mien, yummy.

Before ordering make sure you get the kind of noodles you want across, Because the lady there older smart alec didn‘t know what noodles they had, She said yellow noodles? We had never been in this restaurant before, And had Chinese food before many times before and know what the fricken kind of noodles we want, So opened up our to go containers and to our surprise, was bird nest noodles, come on? I‘ve never had fricken bird nest crispy noodles in chow mein really? I hope trump makes it in for president.

I’ve eaten here a couple times and have always been satisfied with their bbq items but today I ordered wonton soup and the wontons were spoiled. Now my stomach is in excruciating pain. Damn you cheung hing!!!

How much does rice cost? About twenty cents per 50# sack? I’m okay with being hungry an hour after eating Chinese. But I shouldn’t be hungry a minute after. Look at the picture and see what a $ 13 entrée is — that’s embarrassing for them. Flavor — prawns were fishy and the potstickers were dough balls. Really — this is food that’s pretty hard to do poorly. Yet, overall it was a disappointment.

Even though the food was really good, I can’t get over how bad the attitude of our waitress was. I don’t know if it was cause they had to work on Thanksgiving day but their body language showed it was obvious they didn’t want to be there. There was 9 of us so we ordered multiple plates of food. When we wanted to order more they seemed annoyed and when they served it to us our waitress pretty much slammed each plate on the table. We also asked for 9 glasses of water but she then replied«No I give you only 4». I understand we’re in a drought but you can’t deny us water when asked for it… Their food was actually really good but there are other Chinese restaurants right next to this one that probably have way better service. I don’t recommend going to this restaurant.

sometimes you just want to stop for a quick bbq pork over rice to go, and this place works. i like more the crisp burnt ends, and here is a little more fatty, but overall satisfies and is a nicer shop than other locations.

I like they’re Chinese BBQ pork over rice. It’s my go-to food to order if I’m ordering from them. I’ve only ordered to go so I can’t say much about the service for dining in but each time I’ve ordered to go the staff has been friendly and efficient.

Dude the duck soup was just awesome. Maybe I am a sucker for duck, but this place did it well. Brother was really good too.

The food was… edible, chicken was very dried and shortribs had mostly bones. It wasn’t total disaster tho — the taste was there. Give more love to meat!

I was super impressed! Mushu Chickien was solid. Plum/duck sauce was on point. Pancakes were a bit too thick for my preference(resembling a mexican flour tortilla almost). String Bean/Chicken over rice was delicious. Great, speedy delivery!

Ok, I’ve never been to the Cheung Hing on Noriega. Maybe because I’m scared away by the constant crowds? No food is worth the long wait in line in my opinion. Anyway, we came here for dinner and were seated right away. It wasn’t very busy on a Saturday evening. Maybe 2 big tables besides us but people started coming in while we were eating. It never got to the point of waiting for a table though. We ordered Seafood pan fried noodles, bbq pork chow mein and 2 deli items. –Seafood Pan Fried Noodles — Sorta soggy. Too much gravy. They did give a good proportion of seafood and noodles though. BBQ Pork chow mein — very little BBQ pork. What gives? Deli items — We ordered BBQ pork(because we didn’t get any for our chow mein!) and roast pig. BBQ pork was very good. Lean with a bit of fat which is what I like. Who wants to have fat squish around inside their mouths. The roast pig was a disappointment. Crispy skin was on the thin side and they did not bother to prick the skin so it will be extra crunchy. The pig was also fat. We’re talking about squishy fat in the mouth fat. Ugh no want. Service was perfunctory. Portions were on the small side for the price. No soup but we got green bean tong sui at the end. Restaurant was very clean and nice.

I can’t complain. I’ve ordered here several times for delivery or pick up. I’m always weary about ordering for delivery/pick up because I’m usually starving at this point and paranoid they’ll get my order wrong and it’s hard to rectify the situation immediately because you don’t have the restaurant ability to fix it when the delivery guy rolls up to your doortstep with the wrong order. Despite a few small items they forgot to give me, such as plates, forks, spicy chili oil, etc(which I CLEARLY noted in the description box when I placed my order on Eat24), they have not(yet) gotten my actual FOOD order wrong, and the food arrived hot and fresh, and was delicious. Not too greasy, didn’t feel like«dirty food», haha… and above all, reasonably priced, which is important because I always order A LOT of food. You also get a free order of fried rice, or chow mein, or soda depending on your minimum order. I also like that the food is served in reusable microwavable/dishwasher SAFE plastic containers so I can wash them and add them to my Tupperware collection! LOL… SCORE! P. s. the chow mein tastes better as a leftover when I ate it two days after.

The food here is delicious and packed with flavor! We ordered a variety of noodle and fried rice dishes here and I can say that I was happy with each entrée. Unfortunately, I did not know the names of all of the dishes that we ordered(so this review might not be too helpful), but what I do know is that the Cha Siu Fried Rice was very good! Your safe bet is the Cha Siu Fried Rice, haha. If you’re looking to fulfill your appetite with some good Chinese food, specifically in the form of rice or noodle dishes, this place isn’t bad!

The place is nice and clean. Not a hole in the wall. Looking for a snack. Ordered Westlake Soup, Roast Pork and BBQ pork. I noticed they had Sapporo beer. The waitress said we didn’t have any beer. I know I don’t look like a kid, but whatever. The roast pork and BBQ pork was served on the same plate. VERYGOOD. Each slices of the roast pork had the skin attached to it. The skin is the star. Nice crispy golden wonderful. The meat is juicy. The BBQ pork had that nice sweet taste. The Westlake soup came next. It’s good. The mince beef with the egg drop and cilantro. After eating the meat, the hot soup really eased the oils from the fried meats. I would have given this place 5 stars but I was refused that beer. If your in SSF and need some good chinese food with some non alcoholic beer, check our this place, son!

Did not expect this place to be so good. The inside décor didn’t looked like much, but damn, the food was way better than expected. The roast duck was crazy juicy, with large chunks of meat that was served hot, soft, and crispy. The BBQ pork was also very nice – soft, warm, and flavorful. The décor was pretty normal, and the food portions was pretty big – it took me 2 meals to finish the Two Item BBQ Rice. Definitely would visit this over and over if I lived closer to the place.
