This place is a hit and miss depending upon who is working. I am by no means expecting a perfect meal for the price im paying, this is a fast food chain so I adjust my expectations accordingly. However, I usually order the monster taco, spicy chicken sandwhich and a drink. Sometimes things come out overcooked and other times their fine. Also the service can be inconsistent. Some employees just seem to not care or are to tired to do anything. It can get crowded sometimes so this can turn into a 10 – 15 minute wait which is long for a fast food joint. If you like sandwiches, I would recommend jack in the box but as for location, try to find one that is consistent.

I have to agree with dude about rating a fast food joint… they are pretty much all the same. You can rate the people, the cleanliness, IF ur food is cold or not, etc. the people were kewl, food hot and all that. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is for a couple reasons. I went here since was near where I was at the time and had that free, withOUT purchase, double jack but this must be the most $$$ of fast food joints I’ve been to. The normal $ 0.99 tacos are $ 1.19, granted it is only $ 0.20 diff versus other JITB but it’s the principle. They are seriously expensive as it is but even with the FREE burger I ordered a shake, almost $ 4!!!, and curly fry, almost $ 3!!! Holy«Ford»(inside joke, read brand new world by Huxley)!!! So my «meal» came out to be $ 7.17! For 2 items… bejesus! Took pics of menu and will post in a sec. Not sure if they are THE most expensive FF spot but they are up there. Prob first and last time I hit up this spot.

Burnt cold fries :(I ate around them because I was hungry but had I been there when my boyfriend picked it up for me I would have asked for fresh ones.

It’s a JIB you should know what to expect. I rate fast food on the following: Courtsey of the«voice», Friendliness at the window, Order complete, Fresh food, Food was handed off with a closed bag and a smile and lastly, Appearance of the location. This location was under a remodel and drive thru was only open. They had a banner that stated that from the street and staying in the culture of the area it was spray painted on some boards out front. The voice behind the menu board was friendly and nice, we placed our order and drove up with no one in front of us. Was met at the window with a smile and after the normal exchange of cash and drinks our food came a few mins later. The order was handed over with a closed bag and a friendly smile. We got some extra dipping cause(ranch) and napkins as requested(no charge, unlike the savages at McDonalds). Food was fresh and hot, no complaints.

Cold curly fries! I guess I shouldn’t be eating jack in the box anyways. I don’t expect anything special when eating fast food but still…

Well I have to start by saying that Cindy should be the District Manager. I placed my order and there were addition charges which was corrected but during the time it was being corrected my food sat on the counter. Than they corrected my order by removing curly fries and placing the regular fries. As I was eating 2 other men order was wrong they had curly and not regular fries but yet they let them keep the wrong item. Some condensation dripped onto my fries which they did repkace, but when I informed the District Manager Ileaña about the drip and how someone can get sick, she did nothing. I asked DM Ileaña to speak with her and she kept me waiting until I asked how long was I going to have to wait? She replied that she was filling orders she has to take care of the customer, while she is fully staffed and she was an extra in the equation. I told her that I am a customer as well, previously I had witnessed her attend 2 others(that were not of the same ethnicity as the DM and I) faster. I Ileaña then told me that I can call the toll free number on my receipt when I asked for her bosses information. Toll free number is just a survey but I was able to find a customer service number to file a complaint. Only to find out that the complaint will be forwarded to her and no one else. Fake smiles unless your not her race and discrimination towards her own race… might return because of Cindy but never will because of the District Manager Ileaña…

yeah… i really never eat in jack in the box. I remember i had eaten there once after a late night partying in LA… but never really wanted to — even after all the stupid commercials with the guy and the big round head. But I had to walk around to the office and was hungry so I figured why not… I ordered the food, ate it and… as I sit here in the bathroom I am recollecting why I stopped eating here.

Like any other jack in the box except this one is across from Allspeed Hobbies and next door to Hung To chinese restaurant, and we find ourselves here for lunch after spending a few hours at Allspeed Hobbies. I can’t get enough of their curly fries with buttermilk ranch sauce or their milkshakes. Yep their milkshakes is what brings me to their yard :)

I love Jack in the Box. It’s comfort food for me. That said, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a jack in the box, ever. The cashiers were not only arguing with each other and being rude to each other, they were also rude to my boyfriend and I and didn’t seem to be paying much attention to our order. We had to repeat things a few times, no big deal. But then when we got our order and it wasn’t to go, I asked if we could get it to go, and the girl at the counter literally just tossed a bag on top of the food and then turned back around and ignored us. Normally I would have no problem being helpful and wrapping up my own food if it was busy or something, but it wasn’t, and the rude snotty manner that she had made it kindof a slap in the face. Then, when we got home and started eating, I was thinking,“Well, at least I get to enjoy my burger!” BUTNO. There was a long black hair embedded in the melted cheese. So I didn’t even get that out of the experience. Never going there again. There are like three other Jack in the Boxes in the area, I advise everyone to avoid this one and pick one of those instead.

Jack in the box is like the thread-bare Winnie-the-Pooh comforter that I’ve had since the 3rd grade. It’s comforting, familiar, dependable, and gets better the more I use it. Within the 6 miles that I drive on a daily basis, there are 4 locations. This one, by far, is my favorite location. Why? Because they’re fast. They’re nice. It looks relatively clean. They’re fast. They don’t give me shit when I ask for extra buttermilk. The fries are always burning hot. I’ve never had an issue with this location with my orders or my food. I’m one of those annoying people that actually customize my food through the drive through, but the service is always quick and friendly. The down side to this location is that there always seems to be drunk people who can’t get their act together in the drive through between the hours of 2−4am. I’ve been stuck behind a few such cars and it makes me wish their lobby was open 24hrs as well. But you can’t blame JITB for their clientele.

IT’S A JACKINTHEBOX!!! This place is a teeny bit run down, but it’s still a great JITB! I agree with another reviewer, drive through is the way to go! Don’t forget your coupons though, and the seasonal milkshakes. : —)

Jack in the Box – ah the memories. This location has been here as long as I can remember – and I have a LONG memory. Over 35 years as far as I can see. Back then, you could buy much bigger Jumbo Jacks, see the commercials with Rodney Allen Rippy, and you could also get these: Well, now Jack’s back and the food is still great. I think that this is my favorite of all of the fast food restaurants around because of the quality of the food, plus the fact that you can order from their breakfast menu 24 hours a day – that’s great. Service here is pretty great too – one guy recently even wiped the cups before handing me my family’s drinks – that’s a touch of class. I heard that the tacos were made with soy protein and so began ordering some to eat. Unfortunately, I then heard that they actually did have meat in them so I had to stop. That sucked – they’re tasty. Any time day or night, this Jack has food hot and fast.

Being that it’s close to the warehouse where I work, I used to go there frequently and order the steak ‘n egg burrito. This, I tell you, is damn good. Well, after this ONE day, I haven’t been back and would rather settle for a McDouble and water than take a risk here. The last time I was there, I noticed a roach on the wall behind the cashier, who by the way is piece of work herself with bumps all on her chubby face. Anyway she takes my order and one of the guys behind her looked into a plastic pitcher for my shake, made a face, looked at the wildebeest cashier, then at me. Then he threw the drink out. What was in that pitcher I will never know, but I know one thing though, I don’t wanna go back there to find out!

This is one of the smaller fast food restaurants. There isn’t that many Jack in the Box around the San Francisco/Daly City area. One corner is devoted to the self service drinks and right next to it is the counter. The rest of the place has a bunch of 2 person tables right next to the restrooms and 5 booths. I wanted to come and try their«Big Deal.» After eating I don’t understand the big deal. The soda was bigger than average, but it’s an free refill place. The cheese burger is the size of McDonald’s $.59 cheese burger. The fries look like it came from a kids size meal and the taco looked like a reject from Taco Bell.

Customer service has improved since the cashier was extra friendly to everyone. While not hard to find(on Spruce Avenue, just a few blocks off of El Camino Real — no turns needed), it did feel out of the way since the surrounding area is industrial with many business fronts having a «for lease» sign. It’s because of TTET I guess. Another sign of the bad times? Six luxury autos that stopped by for this food in the 20 minutes that I was there.
