So I wish I could remember the name of my technician. I had never gotten a gel manicure before and this was my first. Since then I’ve been to 4 other salons for gel mani. This one is the best. The tech I had sits right up front, where Susan’s doggy sits. She cleaned the nail so well, really got rid of all the cuticles on the sides on the nail, which most technicians miss. Then she was careful at applying every layer. Most techs don’t realize the clear polish at the end needs to be done smoothly too, in fact probably most important layer. Every other mani I’ve had is sloppy. Plus there’s a cute doggy here.

I live near Boston and I travel out here often to have my nails done by Susan. Her bichon hangs out in the shop and was a pleasant surprise during my first visit. Would highly recommend this place — great service and great quality gel sets!

I want to start by saying that i dont get my nails done very often. The last time I got them done, it was for prom. This time it was for my senior portraits. The place is neat and clean. All their tools get put in a sanitizing machine between each client. Their pedicure and manicure stations were both very nice. They had a large selection of nail polish types and colors. The employees were quite nice, but did not make much conversation. I went in to get tips and a french manicure. I was taken care of before my appointment time, which was nice. The bad part was that i was there past closing time. All the other employees had left already, and it was just me, the manicurist and my father. When my tips were on and my nails were painted, the manicurist set my hands to dry. She did that exfoliating stuff before they were entirely dry, and that messed up the white tips on some of my nails. This left weird lines when it was done. I can also see my real nails under the fake tips, and its kind of weird. Overall, I’d say my experience was pretty okay. I would recommend this place to a friend.

I had received a gift card for Christmas to this salon, and I had heard good things about them so I was excited to go. I hadn’t had my nails done in a while. I’m only giving two stars because of how well the girl did my nails. I am actually very happy with how they turned out(shellac with a french tip). I would have given more stars if they hadn’t been so rude when I went to pay. First off, she asked if I had a membership. I said no I don’t and that today I was going to be using a gift card to pay. She laughed at me. Then looked at another woman who worked there, spoke their language, and they both laughed. I said, ‘is that funny?‘ She said, ‘haha no, no’… Then they spoke their language again and proceeded to laugh. WTF? I understand most nail places the people who work there are of Asian descent, and speak their language all the time. But this was flat out rude. She then reached for my card without telling me the total. I asked her what it was and she replied $ 43. I handed her the card and it’s too bad I have a bit of a balance because I won’t ever give them my business again.

I recently visited Classic Nails as part of a bridal party. I paid $ 78 for a French pedi and a French mani. Within six hours my toes and nails had already chipped! I was so disappointed. I went through the wedding with chips on my hands and feet! This place is WAY overpriced for a rushed job that is NOT quality.

I was looking for a closer nail salon and decided to give this place a try. I won’t be back. I got a basic navy gel manicure and asked for a ‘chevron’ pattern on my ring finger nails. I realize that not every salon can manage designs but I was a new customer so I decided to ask. The man doing my nails laughed after looking at the picture I showed him. He then proceeded in grabbing my phone and parading it around the salon showing other people. One woman said she could do it. Meanwhile there were two dogs sitting behind the counter the entire time(sanitary? Not sure) I wouldn’t have even questioned this except for that one was loudly YIPPING constantly throughout my entire experience. After what seemed like forever the woman who agreed to paint the design came back and quickly started doing it, yet she barely looked at my hand. She spent the entire design process looking up to yell at her young son who was playing with the dogs at this time. The design came out horribly. I asked if she could please paint over it and she acted offended and pretty much refused. I just wanted that nail to be plain. I was charged extra for the design despite my(denied) request for it to be removed. Might’ve been a language barrier thing? That would be their only saving grace. Either way not a relaxing or welcoming environment

I randomly stopped by here with a friend on Good Friday. The place was pretty crowded, and the receptionist asked if we could come back. We said no and that we would just go to a different salon. Miraculously they fit us in right away(this seemed to be the case for everyone). I got a gel manicure. The color selection was decent. The technician seemed to do a good job with my nails, though she wasn’t very personable. Whatever. Not even a week later, my gel mani began chipping! I’ve been to numerous salons and typically these manicures last a solid 2+ weeks. Not sure if it’s the gel or the technique they use but I’m not at all impressed. I’ll definitely be going elsewhere to get my nails done in the future.

Would not go here again. While the prices are average($ 60 for a shellac manicure and pedicure) the staff was not very personable and the nail color literally peeled off my nails in less than a week.(I’ve had shellac stay for over 2 weeks every other time I’ve had it done at other locations). The negative experience paired with less than long-lasting results is the reasoning for my negative review.

This place has very neat interior decorations. Once you walk in, you will realize you’ve picked a right place for relaxation. They also give you a very nice back massage as you dry your nails. I’ve been to this place twice. Once it was super busy. But they were still very nice and friendly. Once thing i disliked from this visit was the pedicure performance. I had such a rough day, so wanted to relax and get my feet rubbed. I asked for one of their spa pedicures, expecting the massage would be longer than regular pedicures. I understand it was busy day for them, and there were customers kept coming in. But my massage was shorter than the customers next to me.(They were getting regular pedicures) My next visit was very pleasant. I went there for gel manicure. The young lady who performed the service was very thorough and friendly. I was very pleased.(The work was fabulous!) I would recommend this place, but Im not sure if I would ask for spa pedicures again. Its not worth your bucks.

I debated giving this salon 4 stars since there wasn’t anything truly *exceptional* despite a clean, high quality experience… then I remembered their canine ambassador and was swayed to give them five stars after all! My friend and I came for manicures, because our favorite(slightly cheaper) place in Vernon is closed on Sundays. So props to Classic for having more convenient hours! The salon is very clean and nicely decorated, giving it a spacious and relaxing ambiance. The staff were congenial and efficient, and they put up with my waffling over color. I really wanted to do an accent ring finger with two-tone chevron design, and to her credit, one manicurist offered to try it on her own finger to see if she could do it, but I declined because it just wasn’t worth all that effort(blame pinterest for artificially inflating my manicure expectations). They do a nice little shoulder rub while your manicure is curing as well as a hot stone rub too. Still, my favorite part is the cute little poodle that hangs out at the salon. He even has a little bed behind the counter, and when not greeting customers, curls right up under his little blanket and snoozes. Don’t forget to bring cash for the tip, or if you’re really smart, for the whole enchilada – they discount 5% if you pay in cash!

Great salon! Clean and competitively priced. They do a nice job painting the nail and the still offer silk wraps which is huge for me since I always have a broken toe nail. Pedicure is $ 30, gel manicure is $ 30. I will be back and I know a lot of my coworkers frequent this salon. **Cash tip only**

This nail salon is nicer than most, its been around for like 2 years and its holding up well – it looks nicer inside than all of the salons at the mall. Very attractive interior and plenty of pedicure chairs. We went yesterday for pedicures, walk-in style, no appointment and they made room for us in about 10 minutes – appreciate it. They accept credit cards for bills over $ 15 but make sure to bring cash for a tip. Pedicure was $ 30 – on par with the local market. The have a lot of OPI nail polishes for sale, but their color selection is pretty average-I had a hard time picking a color. I’ll definitely be back eventually, I hope that big screen TV is on next time.
