I was on a quest to do 100% of my holiday shopping locally. No Amazon, no big box retail… I failed because SOMMMMEEEBBBBOODDYYY really wants a particular brand of skin care product that involves me taking myself to the mall to purchase it, but before I was derailed from my goal of local-only shopping I made it to Copper and Birch. Copper and Birch isn’t your average independent gift shop that sells(snore) Vera Bradley(I like Vera, but it’s predicatable) and(snore, snore) Lilly Pulitzer stationary. Copper and Birch’s inventory is entirely locally produced goods. It’s aweeeeessoooome. Candles, skincare products, prints, scarves, jewelry, etc… All from round here. That said, my one star deduction is because I would have loved to have a write up or info available for all the different brands in the store. Some had business cards and/or flyers by the display, but some did not. :/ As for what I bought? I can’t tell you that! Those things are prezzies for my loved ones. Can’t spoil the surpise!
