We had a great dinner with a group of friends. The restaurant was very busy and our server was prompt and professional. We had a variety of seafood and everyone enjoyed the high quality and presentation of the dishes. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed with a friendly and helpful staff. I have been here before and have never been disappointed. It’s great to have a spot where you can make a reservation and bring friends to enjoy a fine meal with several local seafood options during the busy season on the Outer Banks.

The food was good, but the service was awful. Our server was super slow(slow in taking our order, refilling drinks, bringing out food, etc). The restaurant wasn’t busy, but it took 30 mins for our server to take our order. There was a table who was seated after us who got their orders taken first. Rude. When we asked to order bread, our server said they were«low on bread.» Funny she said that because the restaurant has a deli right inside that sells sandwiches; and when our entrees came out, there was bread on the side. We tried to make the best of our time at the restaurant, but our server was such a turn off. We will not be returning to this restaurant; and we do not recommend it either.

Food was amazing here and the wine list and oyster options were plenty. Would definitely recommend getting a reservation! Super easy and romantic outing.

Steamed shrimp was good, but mussels not so much and bread was burnt. Wait staff was attentive and check out was a breeze. Not a large selection other than the wine list.

Had a 25 person staff retreat catered by Coastal Provisions, two lunches and two dinners. The food was excellent(although very generous portions) and the communications with Brittney were excellent. The food was incredibly high quality and delicious. We’ll keep working with this place in years to come.

Visited last Saturday with my family and it was a huge disappointment. My daughter and I both ordered seafood platter and were not impressed. The lobster was overcooked, vegetables & shrimp were cold. The small basket of bread was an additional charge, which is absurd with their pricing. The waiter also seemed less than thrilled to be working that evening. No comparison to Aqua.

Stopped by this place based on Unilocal reviews. Glad we made the stop as the atmosphere and oysters were totally worth it. They had probably a dozen oyster varieties on the menu of which we tried two. They were fresh, cold, and salty… what more could you want. We also tried the crab balls which were great. Pretty much just crab with no fillers. We’ll be back to the OBX in a few months and will definitely make another stop here.

Great little place with a oyster bar, a deli(the roast beef for a sandwich and the carryout meals looked so appealing, we almost didn’t eat in) and then a adorable little wine room to dine in. We went for an early dinner in the wine room, so we’re able to order off the lunch menu(they turned the lights lower towards the end to set a nice mood for the dinner guests). I chose a nice Chardonnay and enjoyed the lightness with my meal. I started with the BBB salad, which was beets, brussels and Bleu cheese. It had a nice vinaigrette with some wants added on top. Thoroughly enjoyed this salad, didn’t expect the roasted brussels and beets to compliment each other so well. I enjoyed the sesame Fish tacos, which were a nice twist on traditional fish tacos. They did have a bit of a kick, which for some might be a problem. I enjoyed the freshness of the slaw against the kick of the sauce on the fish. For me, the salad was the winner of my choices… I was tempted to go back again and get another, but alas my vacation is only a week, and there are so many places to try.

Service was excellent. Surf and turf was fabulous. Steak was tender and perfectly prepared. The crab cakes are awesome! Highly recommend them. Oysters orgenata were great. Very nice atmosphere.

Had a wonderful meal here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Nice atmosphere, great service — and the meals were delicious. I had a salad with beets and roasted brussel sprouts and the shrimp and grits — yum! Love the reasonable wine prices!

Not sure the servers know much about the beer selections, but they know their wine. Nice for casual family meals, with small and large meals. If you want a light lunch, the oysters Rockefeller or tacos are quite good. The sandwiches, such as the«brie LT», could be stretched to two meals(as my mom did).

Ate here tonight. Nice atmosphere and decent food but service was slow and no substitutions. I got the crab cakes which were really good but expensive. I wanted a sandwich but they would not allow me to have a roll. They have it for lunch but cant bring me a roll for dinner? My father and son both got the seafood platter which was overpriced and nothing to write home about. My dad asked substitutions on his platter which they would not allow. Seemed like they are not flexible to make the customer happy. I got fries which seemed out of a bag. I saw someone with the sweet potato fries which i did not know about but looked better. My other son got the kids fish sticks which were actually the deal of the night at only $ 5 for what seemed like fresh fish. Wine was discounted because they sell it and you can grab a bottle out of the cabinet. Bottom line– you will probably spend about $ 30 for your dish. I doubt I would go back.

I always come here for fresh oysters. I like the variety of locations they get oysters from. Great lunch spot.

We went here last night for dinner. It is by far the best meal we’ve had in OBX so far. Everything is so fresh. We had the scallops and oysters Rockefeller for appetizers. Delicious! Then for dinner we had the seafood platter, crab pasta and the mixed green salad. Everything was flavorful and seasoned to perfection. I left here feeling full but not in a heavy gross way. The food was light and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place. Especially if you enjoy wine!

Wish I could have posted a picture of my BrieLT, but I ate it too fast! Good size sandwiches to say the least. Very delicious! 7 years in a row getting the same sandwich on our way home from our OBX vacation. It’s so good that it makes leaving the OBX a little okay! ;) great people and great food… what more could you ask for!

This is a must stop for us every year. The Bacon Brie LT is amazing! If you like Brie, you have to get this sandwich. It’s very big! My mom always gets the crab cake sandwich and says she’s never had a better crab cake.

Lovely space and airy feeling. The staff was very pleasant and sweet. They gave me some local pointers for the area. The Tuna. Medium rare with mashed potatoes and veggies were on point. So was the sheepheads(similar to grouper.) We tried the rose that is a local wine from currituck. Fresh and mild.

Did you know that there is a TOTALLYLEGIT oyster bar in the OBX? One that has 8 different types of oysters available by the half dozen in January? No? Neither did I until the other week! We were in the OBX celebrating our anniversary and hunting for someplace for a nice but casual dinner on a Thursday night. We rounded the corner and saw Coastal Provisions all lit up and drove into the parking lot. Let me say that we never even knew this place was here because up until recently, a ton of brush and bushes kept you from seeing any of the businesses in this little strip mall. When you walk in you see a oyster/wine bar on your left and counters for meat and seafood in the back. There’s a scattering of small tables in the aisle. Uh-oh, I thought, This is not a place to sit down and eat. Boy was I wrong! We were led around the corner to the right and there were plenty of tables and another little bar. There are racks and racks of wine surrounding this side of the dining area. When we asked about the wine list, our waitress explained how it worked — anything on the shelves was available at the retail price with NOCORKAGEFEES! We grabbed a nice Spanish wine for less than $ 30 to enjoy with dinner. The DH and I started with oysters, a half dozen each of four different kinds. My *only* issue is that they must be ordered in ½ dozen or dozen quantities when I would’ve preferred a mixed dozen of say, 6 different ones. This is a very small quibble. I had the special, a mushroom ravioli with a poached egg. When I broke that egg across the top is made such a rich sauce! So Yum! Our waitress pushed this from 4 stars and into 5 starts for us. She completely made our night! We really can’t wait to get back here to try them mid-day for oysters and a bottle of wine.

Phenomenal service, FOOD, drink and atmosphere… Extremely attentive and knowledgeable staff… WOW…This is what a restaurant should model themselves after… To a tee… Crabcakes, oysters, wine, and steaks were all delivered with a smile and right on point… Love it when I, and my guests, leave an establishment such as this with EXTREMELY satisfied smile(s)…KUDOSTOTHEOWNERSANDMANAGEMENT!!!

I had a very nice night here sampling some of their AMAZING oysters(and even getting a nice education on them from the chef) as well as eating a lot of crab dip and some awesome strawberry mousse. They have a very nice wine selection too which I got to enjoy. Recommended for a low key dinner.
