We get pizza from here more than we like to admit. It’s so fresh! The meatball sub and anti pasta salad is great.

2 large 2 toppings round or square $ 17.99 is a pretty good deal for decent pizza in my book. Better than little ceasers and Hungry Howies. Different options than Jets. I like Capri Greek pizza, green olives and other options I can’t get at Jets. Overall a good pizza joint. Will keep ordering!

Things have gone downhill in this last year. It could be remain a good pizza if it was cooked properly. Like when I ask for a well done pie. Primo’s Birmingham delivers. Hungry Howie’s also delivers. Capri has been in fifth place since the fall. Sad that there are 4 better places to order for delivery, and one is a chain. Not quick, not good, not right. Too bad, it was my favorite.

I love their subs the best. The pizza is thin crust and not greasy. Wonderful fresh salads too.

Been coming here on and off for a few years since I live close by. Sauce(taste, spices, slight oregano hint) and crust bite and old school flour/dough taste are stand out. Thinner but not thin classified crust per se. Pepperoni solid. Good flavor. Not a fan of the deep. Nice local spot that isnt standout but a good pie to grab from time to time. Rather support these type spots than chains. They have beer and wine too. I usually ask for a little extra sauce on the pizza.

Capri is the bomb. I’m not a huge deep dish fan to begin with because it’s normally super-doughy and greasy. Capri’s deep dish is not super thick, which I appreciate. I don’t know how they do it different here, but the deep dish crust never comes out really greasy like it does at other places. I’ve never had the round pizza here, so I can’t comment on that. The cheese bread is solid and a must-try with your order. I don’t remember being a huge fan of their chicken wings the one time we ordered them, but I’ve got no complaints about anything else. Overall, I think their pizza offers something different than the norm and they do it well.

Great pizza and salad! Nice they deliver to Berkley and have a credit card swipe at the door. I can’t wait to try the lasagna next. Friendly on the phone and deliver man.

I moved to Berkley over a year ago and I normally go with a pizza chain if I am looking for a pizza place. My girlfriend suggested this place after checking out the Unilocal reviews. We ordered a large square and the garlic cheese bread and both were fantastic. The pizza is cooked in a brick oven and the sauce was placed on top; it was great. Also, i am not a fan of breadsticks at all, but I will be ordering the garlic cheese sticks again. This is now my go to place for pizza. I hope to try some of their pastas and dinners too soon.

Capri is great! It never seems busy, which shocks me given how good it is. Great deep dish at a very reasonable price. Best pizza I’ve had in the area.

I’ve drove by this place a couple of times, and wondered how it was… If you’ve followed my reviews you know what I look for in pizza… With me its about three key things 1) fresh ingredients 2) sauce 3) dough… With a couple of minor changes«Capri Pizzeria» could go from good to great pizza. First; the sauce while its not bad, its lacking spices. it doesn’t have that robust Italian sauce flavor. Second; the dough, while its good, its missing that rustic texture and inner chew. The ingredients are fresh, overall the pizza was good, and I’ll return again. They also sale Beer, Wine and Soft Drinks. Overall 8 out of 10, Capri Pizzeria could be the #1 Pizzeria in that area, if they spent a little more detail in perfecting a signature sauce and ferment their dough maybe an extra day, to get that classic chew.

Always had great pizza from there, and delivered promptly. AND they deliver beer… How do you beat that?

We order the round pizzas several times a month. Delicious. It’s reminds me of the traditional pizzas I had growing up. We also order the salads too. They have always been crisp and fresh… nothing ticks me off more than getting a brown lettuce salad… thank you Capri for being consistently delicious!

Don’t ever order from these awful people! My husband has been ordering from them from years and us the last five years, in the summer almost weekly with the SAMEDELIVERYGUY who delivers to our BACKYARDCORNERLOT. Having a Dream Cruise party with children, we ordered 6XL pizzas and was told an hour. When it was hour 45 we called because kids were hungry and were totally polite and said we understand it is dream cruise and that it is busy but want to make sure it was on the way. The OWNER got on the phone and immediately got defensive and told us he delivered to us 30 minutes ago and that the small amount we called and put on the card on the phone was changed to the whole amount because the person they delivered to asked for the rest to be put on the card charged. We explained we did NOT receive our pizza and we DIDNOTAUTHORIZE that charge, owner was extremely rude and adamant that we did and sent delivery guy back who mind you DELIVERSTOUSEVERYWEEK and he said that he delivered to our porch to someone else and no one was in the backyard. NOTTRUE!!! THEYHADNOSIGNATUREEVENANDSAIDTOOBAD charging. Sorry that the delivery guy who delivers to us every week even said was not us and not our fault he is high! I was calling the police when he took off. Owner refuses to acknowledge his high delivery guy made a mistake! WHYWOULDWEHAVEEVENCALLED?! WHYWOULDWESAYONLYCHARGE A PORTIONANDHAVETHERESTCASHTOTURNAROUNDANDDOTHAT?! WORSTSERVICEINHISTORYDONOTORDER!!!

Capri is on our regular pizza rotation — it’s nearby and quite yummy. The sauce is flavorful. The toppings are fresh. The prices are reasonable. Usually we go for the round pizza, which is thin. This weekend, I ordered a square Greek pizza and it was quite good — deep dish with the yummy crispy edges. They also have a nice selection of beverages inside.

[Edited] Short version, I became very sick after eating here. The pizza was basically a beefed up hot and ready, needless to say, not very good. Bummed out, was hoping for a new favorite, but definitely was not the case. Sorry to the owner, not everyone is going to like everything, but I wasn’t a fan, I do appreciate you offering a refund.

Fast, friendly delivery! I do live closeby. I wanted to support a local restaurant upon moving into this ‘hood, and I was enticed by this independent non-chain pizzeria. I first ordered hastily on a late night of unpacking — and ordered twice again the same week! I love the thin crust, the sauce, and the willingness to make to order(I usually order extra sauce and well done — no problem and no extra charge). I split one topping into halves — no extra charge. I only give 4 stars instead of 5 since I think the toppings could be a but more premium, and because the salads are nothing special. If you like thin crust pizza, this is your place!

What makes this pizza top notch is the sauce and dough taste. The sauce is good and they do not hose the pizza down with it, just the right amount. The dough is good, and this is coming from someone who does not like the crust, you know the crust is the true measure of dough flavor. Since they are not a chain they do not deliver far away from them, nonetheless I advise to go for Capri pizza, if you are within any reasonable driving distance.

Great tasting sauce cheese and toppings. Love that the crust is thin, but the wish the crust at the edges of the pizza were a little thicker. Pieces were a little small and the pizza as a whole was a little smaller than I expected for a large. Good pizzeria style pizza. Not an authentic pizza, but delicious still. Better than a round at Jet’s, which we live right behind. Love supporting local business and will be a repeat customer, despite driving to Capri rather than walking to Jet’s.

Pretty tired of the local fare around Royal Oak… Green Lantern, Hungry Howies, Dominos, Tania’s. All of the aforementioned are passable, but not quality enough to warrant a «must try» recommendation. Capri’s just might. Their deep dish was very filling and had a great amount of taste — no excess grease to speak of. The sauce is the best I have had in the region with a full, thick flavor. I also got a side of Italian cheese bread that was seasoned nicely, functioning as a fitting complement to the pie. Notes: They will definitely be my default delivery and carry out pizzeria from here on out. They seem to have a wide delivery area and the phone conversation was pleasant and the delivery driver prompt.

I’ve driven by this little pizza place so many times the last decade, and the good Unilocal reviews pushed me to finally check it out tonight. Well, the customer service was nice, and they sell wine and beer. I always appreciate a pizza place which stocks green olives, too. The pizza isn’t in the league of Fresco or Supino, and my local Papa Romano’s is just as good, but it was fine. I would definitely pick up a pizza if I was in the neighborhood, but I wouldn’t come out here specially. 3.5−4 stars, though only in the context of chain-esque pizza.
