Sooo good! The owner was exceptionally nice too, we went on a Wednesday(«wired Wednesday») so we got a free cup of coffee with our purchase. She brought out 3 different types of creamer and even made us a fresh pot of their delicious Avoca coffee(made right in Fort Worth!) She also brought out mini cinnamon buns with a dollop of their new Mocha flavored frosting to enjoy. Delicious! The rolls were hot and fresh, I got Coconut frosting with fresh strawberries… Soooo good! My husband got an Old Skool roll(vanilla frosting) with pie crumble topping and he said it was delicious. Definitely coming here again and bringing my friends and family!

Tasted amazing! You get a cinnaroll and choose your frosting and toppings which come in a variety of options. We got the cookie dough and oreos which was delish.

1. Obligatory«They were on Shark Tank, you guys!» comment here: They were on Shark Tank, you guys! 2. Obligatory«Man, this was surprisingly delicious for something that had no animal products» comment here: If I had eaten the cinnamon roll and was then informed that it was vegan, I would have scoffed at you. There’s nothing that seemed obviously vegan about it(other than the inflated price; more on that later). But maybe my taste buds can’t differentiate between vegan stuff and the stuff where tasty, tasty animals had to suffer for me to enjoy the results. 3. Obligatory«Customer service is on point» comment here: The customer service really was quite good. The lady was lovely in manner and deed. 4. Obligatory soapbox on price here: Some of you Unilocalers seem oblivious that your Southlake(and surrounding area) affluenza is doing a bit of disservice to others reading your reviews. There’s a lot of love focused on all things vegan. But other than a couple of Unilocalers, everyone else seems to be downplaying(or outright ignoring) that Cinnaholic’s cinnamon rolls are pretty expensive for what they are. The total for two cinnamon rolls: $ 12.99. Approximately $ 6.50 a cinnamon roll. And it wasn’t because I happened to go insane on the icing and topping options either. I picked the Tiramisu and the Praline Pecan Pie. They were both good(PPP was better than Tiramisu though), but they weren’t thaaaaaaaat good… I dunno what their profit margins are, but I’m certain they’re doing quite well… Now before you roll your eyes at me, I’d like to clarify that I’m not opposed to spending money. I happened to enjoy a $ 10(not vegan) burrito right before I walked into Cinnaholic, so it’s not a question of wanting everything to be under a certain price point. I simply believe that food(of all things) should be accessible to everyone, and not just people with a whole lot of disposable income. In my humble opinion, if I was asked to pay $ 4-ish(or thereabouts) for these cinnamon rolls, I would have thought, «Yeah that sounds about right. They are gourmet after all, so sure.» But these prices…

I went to try because the idea of «gourmet» cinnamon roll is quite attractive. My eyes were tickled because they had samples of their cinnamon rolls in various flavor combinations, with the option of building your own cinnamon roll(choose your own frosting & toppings). But I am old school when it comes to cinnamon roll so I ordered«Old Skool Roll». All I was expecting was a good dough, balanced vanilla frosting — good ol’ cinnamon roll. It was a let down, specially for the price.

Cinnaholic gets 4 stars for being a vegan cinnamon roll place and I’m not vegan! I typed in cinnamon rolls in Unilocal and headed here… all the way to Southlake. It is an original concept with lots of variety. Yes, I can tell it is vegan, but I still found my Praline Pecan very yum. The lady in front of me raved about her mini roll with coffee frosting, so I got a $.25 coffee flavored frosting shot, since I got a free topping with my Unilocal check in. She was right. If you love Cinnamon Rolls, this is a nice casual spot to check out.

Just discovered this place today & thought I’d try it. Thought it was going to be another Cinnabon place… wrong! This is a build your own cinnamon roll. They have all kinds of icing & toppings to choose from… such as have candy, fruit, cake & pie crumbles. They are warm too. They are simply amazing!

These Cinnabon’s are life changing. You’ll become addicted after you try it for the first time. I’ve only been here twice, I did notice my second time coming here my Cinnabon wasn’t as warm as the first time… Other than that it’s a great spot to get a quick snack at a reasonable price!

Rolls are made to order every ingredient used is fresh and flavorful. The rolls are large and fill you up, a little pricey but worth it.

Loved this place! I chose the banana frosting with a graham cracker topping and it was delicious. The banana frosting rocked my world! One of the bakers gave us mini buns with key lime frosting and blueberries to try and they tasted great as well. I’m not a huge key lime fan but this frosting was subtle and not overly tart. I can’t wait to come back and try new flavors!

Y’all, turns out there IS a heaven and its in Dallas, TX. My partner exclaimed that she will never eat again, which I gotta say this is NOT a bad meal to end with. Lovely service, so many options, and a nice area to seat plenty(whether you’re there with family, on a date, or flying solo). Fresh classic, big as your head cinnamon rolls made daily. Toppings(.50) and frosting(.25) cost plus a classic roll is about 5 bucks. Check in and you get a free topping! Red Velvet was my favorite, cream cheese frosting and red velvet cake crumbs sprinkled all over. The Praline Pecan Pie was rich and far from delicate, very hearty and belongs at the end of your Thanksgiving meal. The raspberry drizzle had a fantastic raspberry topping(tasted like crushed up raspberries), almond frosting, and slivered almonds and could replace your standard strawberry cheesecake birthday cake. After all, you know you want to just eat it all yourself… well, here you can. No judgement. Raspberry Drizzle

Anyone who thinks that all vegan food is bland and boring should visit this place immediately. I ordered an Old Skool, with just a little icing, and it was absolutely delicious! With all the icing and topping options, there’s something for every taste. The service is quick and cheerful, and I’m thrilled to have a place in my neighborhood where everything is vegan. (It should be noted, for those objecting to the nutritional information posted on the Cinnaholic web site, that these are cinnamon rolls, not health food. Just because they’re vegan doesn’t mean you should eat one every day.)

My favorite place to stop when visiting Dallas. The buns are amazingly moist and tasty. The best part is they are light and don’t make you feel weighed down and tired like other pastries. The coffee is fantastic and the best part — non dairy creamers!!! This place is like a needle in a haystack. Don’t miss out on this one peeps.

Love this place! VEGAN(should advertise that out front on the door/sign so drive-by vegans like myself would know). Great prices for the product! I know I’ll be here a lot. Hopefully there will be a chance to have soy free cinnamon rolls as well. I have a sensitivity to soy so I eat in moderation… But I would be here even more if that was the case! The rolls could be a little hotter for sure. They weren’t cold but I love when my baked goods are hot out of the oven. They’re fairly warm but still really good. The women that work here are really kind! Yay for being vegan!!!

I really like how you can see some examples in their window, but you can make something completely customizable! It makes it easier to not get overwhelmed by all the choices. I would rate the food 5/5, but the atmosphere was more like a 3⁄5(why baskets?! It made it so difficult to cut our food!). We would go again, but maybe take it to go.

Delicious product, cute atmosphere, and a friendly staff. If you’re still on the fence about vegan baked goods let this place be the tipping point. With literally hundreds of combinations of toppings and frostings, you are sure to find something you like. They also serve Avoca coffees if you’re into that sort of thing.(You should be into that sort of thing.) I hope they open a bit earlier in the future for those of us who might want to swing by on our way to the office. Other than that, absolutely wonderful!

I first saw Cinnaholic on Shark Tank and I was excited to try it out the weekend a branch opened in DFW. The way it works is you buy a basic cinnamon bun, and you select your frosting and toppings. There is a bakery case with suggestions – I would prefer a full menu with recommended combos, because I felt a bit overwhelmed and wasn’t sure where to begin. We bought one bun with vanilla frosting and chocolate chips, and one with coffee frosting and brownie bits. A few observations: * Both were delicious, if very cinnamon-y. I could taste cinnamon 20 – 30 min after trying one bite of my son’s roll. * The rolls are beautiful. You eat with your eyes first and these are lovely. * These are best eaten fresh. I tasted ours when they were hot, and they were delicious. We stored the leftovers and I found them pretty stale the next morning. They’re meant to be eaten same day. * My 3-yr-old enjoyed his initial taste, but surprisingly declined to finish his cinnamon roll later. He just wasn’t taken with it. I would suggest this as a shared snack between mom and kid, or couple, eaten fresh and warm in store. This is a great weekend morning treat or alternative to Starbucks as a meeting place.

Yes, vegan food is delicious. If you think all we eat is lettuce you may want to re-think that again. Anything non-vegans eat, vegans can eat but WAY better. Didn’t know this place is 100% vegan until I was told about it in a vegan FB community. It’s not«some items» are vegan. It’s ALL items are vegan! Finally. I made my own cinnamon roll with the coffee frosting & pecans. It wasn’t too sweet as I thought it would be. It was just right. It was perfect. I also ordered a black coffee and put some Califa hazelnut creamer in it. I LOVE that NOTHING in this store came from an abused & eventually murdered animal. A few more franchises will be opening soon around the metroplex. Between this place & Reverie in Richardson, there is no shortage of vegan sweets.
