As first time homebuyers in a hot real estate market, Sharon was great to work with. She helped answer the many questions that we had and would almost always get back to us within minutes. She is very professional and cares about her clients. She also has a good team of people working for her. The home inspector that she recommended did a great job as well. When the time comes to buy another home, we will definitely give her a call.

The following review is an opinion of my personal experience with this realtor and it is the worst experience to date. The transaction happened over a year ago. I have purchased and sold 3 homes. In my opinion, Miscommunication and inaccurate and sloppy follow up by realtor and part time untrained staff. First, we Received other clients closing documents via email. Received emails meant for her staff that were sent to me instead. Home offer never even looked at by the realtor, just forwarded to us by an extremely busy realtor with no time to review paperwork before forwarding it on to us. She said so herself. Assistant leaves early so no paperwork will be completed until the following day if returned after 3pm. If you complain you may get an insolent and defensive phone call at 9pm as I did, late at night telling me I was wrong for being upset at her and that she has a hard job. Never had an employee be so rude on the phone who ranted at me while telling me she leaves early as she needs to «unplug» and spend time with family and that I should have called her after 3pm instead of emailing her. She alluded that it was My fault, the customer, for not complying with her rules and self imposed part time hours. Dave Bowman, although professional, made excuses for mishaps and promised to correct. Situation was not corrected and he ignored any further calls from me. We felt as if we were at the bottom of the list of her clients. Sharon is obviously way too busy to provide us with any personal attention. House sold in one day, as it was a decent looking home. But very little interest or attention by realtor. She did call us on several occasions where I would have to catch her up as to what had gone on that day as she seemed to not be getting any updates from her angry part time assistant”. I cannot recommend her and had a much better experience with my Remax realtor. I should have used her again. I thought I would use someone over 50… in my age group. Mistake. Big operation in this case means you are made to feel like a small customer. Sorry, we were not from SouthLake. I can never recommend Sharon Hodnett or Dave Bowman to anyone. It was sooo bad. I still have the closing documents from another client in our email that she sent us. Oi!!!
