On the east edge of Sparks. This canyon is easy to get to by car and lots of road side parking. There are some easy small trails to enjoy and also some steeper harder trails for the more experienced hiker to enjoy. The rocks seem to be combination of worn river rocks and volcanic sharp rocks. Lots of wild mustangs are always around to enjoy. This morning there were some deer out. I’m sure there are snakes that you need to be aware of, but out early enough to avoid them this time. Take plenty of water if you are out for a while, there is absolutely no shade trees around.
