Price varied from $ 2.30 to $ 10.99, so it’s affordable for a fast eat. There’s a drive thru so you can order and go. I actually just ordered their fried okra and Cajun fries(curly fries with Cajun seasoning), nothing special. Very unhappy about the amount given though, I felt ripped off. Plus, they tasted the same as anywhere that offers it. First visit to it, because of my curiosity in the restaurant. As for anyone that likes sandwiches it’s the place for them.

usually the best tea around — this time it was sour in the front and bitter, not sweet in the back.

I have been to Deno’s several times and have no complaints about the place. Now in all honesty, I may have been able to rate it higher but I have only eaten oysters there so I can only rate it as an oyster house. The oysters are great. You have to make sure you tell them to fry them light golden brown otherwise they will be over done. With the oyster platter you get at least 18 oysters. One time I counted 21. Plus three hush puppies, coleslaw and French fries. All for about $ 10.49. They have a good assortment of other seafood such as scallops, shrimp, calamari rings, clam strips, fish, including flounder, as well as snow crabs. So if you’re a seafood fan you might like to give Deno’s a try

I got the flounder platter it was kinda pricy but they give you a lot. Overall the food was pretty good. I think it’s a good addition to the food in Spartanburg. One of the better places. Reminds me of long john silver but more variety and gives you more. I did think it was weird how they charged me .29 cents for a small cup of water though.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the Spartanburg area. The food is always fresh and tasty. My favorites are the shrimp and honey mustard wings. They serve tasty fries too. The philly cheese steak is good too. They offer a really good sauce called«boom boom» sauce that’s good with fish or fries. The food is always hot and I’ve never been disappointed. Sometimes there’s a wait of about 10 – 15 minutes. I’ve ate inside once and the dining area was clean. This is a good place to try.

Pretty good place for sandwich at 1 am. We shared philly cheesesteak and it was enough for both of us. A little bit too much onion for me. Place is nice and clean with cute wall art. Interesting for me was that they charge 38 cents for cup of water. If we ever in Spartanburg again we’ll stop by.

Wow, what a difference 6mo makes… Deno, s used to be such a great place to eat, but now… The lobby is certainly not as clean as it used to be The cashier had an attitude when questioned about something The AC is turned up waaaaay to high, everyone that comes in is talking about how cold it is in here And now on to the food… It used to be soooo good… I ordered a Gyro and the entire thing was cold, even the meat… Just terrible… Please bring back the old staff!!! Very disappointing experience and food.

The Cuban would be better served as a sub Not suitable for grub, not even at a pub The picture menu shows a neatly folded tasty gyro But what we got looks like it exploded in the styro The fries are nice, can’t beat the price, so this place I give two stars But don’t bother with the food my friends, unless you like a smelly car

My husband and I tried it for a fast dinner. I found the gyros(yeero)very fresh and flavorful, fantastic French fries, my husband bought a hamburger and thoroughly enjoyed it. He wasn’t able to eat it all it was so big! Great place for a fast, flavorful dinner. We will be back.

Food was better than I thought it was going to be. We had Philly cheesesteak first time and it was excellent next we did fish and shrimp. It was good not great but ok. Prices are really good. We are going to try the wings next. 30 wings for 20 bucks is not bad at all if good. I suggest giving them a try.

Every time I go there, I order something that I expect to be small, but I always get a hearty helping! I almost always end up with leftovers, which is no problem for me! Highly recommend anything with gyro meat in it!

Service is not fast but the food was hot and fresh. Fries had a Cajun type spice that was the best part of the meal. Tried the chicken fingers, ok but not amazing. Hair in my food ended the meal.

You get a good amount of food for the price. The shrimp is REALLY good, and the chicken strips are the best I’ve had in Spartanburg. We order from here alot and haven’t had anything that wasn’t good yet. I LOVE the greek salad with chicken. I have not been inside yet, but have been through the drive through alot. My only complaint is I have had my order really messed up twice. It was technically my fault because i didn’t check it before i got home, but still… Oh, and the cheese cake is good, but the portion is not enough for the price. Other than those, I will keep eating here. It’s good food.

The food was excellent. $ 10 for a plate. But, the environment was poor. Only one large TV in the corner with sports on like a sports bar. The lobby is too open and crapped. The store is an old Jack in the Box with twice the number of tables and chairs. Feels like a Chinese restaurant. Weird restroom, water would only run cold and stay on for 5 seconds. Worse the door latch caught on my $ 475 jacket and pulled out some thread. The Tea was excellent but, if I eat here again I would only take the food to go through the drive thur.

I’ve been to Deno’s 4 times now, and have NEVER been disappointed with the food. The svc is a lil better with the day shift, the nite shift is just a lil slow and unprofessional, but the food more than makes up for it. If I could givr any constructive criticism, it would be, when u dine IN, serve the fries in a bag or container so they won’t get cold halfway thru ur meal.

Have driven past it enough to try it out. For those in the area, the menu has some similarities to The Clock restaurants. You order your food at the counter and pick it up when they call you. Burgers, chicken strips, Greek food, fish fillets and sandwiches are the main fare. I ordered the Cuban. It had the right ingredients, but wasn’t served on Cuban bread and not authentic like at A Caribbean Sweetness. It was okay, definitely not my favorite but acceptable. Served with a very generous portion of fries. My wife ordered the tilapia platter. Three good sizes pieces of fish, with fries, hush puppies and cole slaw. Wife didn’t want cole slaw and was offered more hush puppies or fries as a substitute, which was quite fair. She enjoyed her meal. As a whole, this is not a place I would go out of my way to eat at. Portion size is okay, and for the price paid($ 16 between us, with soft drinks), it was a fair value. Service time was quite reasonable.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’m vegan which makes it difficult to eat out. All I wanted was a veggie sub. There isn’t even an option for a veggie sub on the menu. Sure, they can make one special for you, but they will charge you for a sub that has meat on it and will just«leave the meat off.» So I can have a veggie sub for the price of a meat sub? No thanks. I walked right out and then wrote this review in the parking lot. Will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone.

I have not actually been inside the restaurant yet. There is hardly any information about the restaurant on the internet, and I have not found a menu for the place. This used to be a Jack in the Box which closed down about – what was it? 3 years ago? Apparently it is a casual dine-in place that specializes in subs, seafood, burgers, gyros, etc. I had a plate of chicken fingers and fries. Really, it was so-so. What I liked about the chicken was the breading. It reminded me of the calabash chicken at Fatz Café which is some of the best chicken fingers you can get! But the chicken fingers are small; closer to the size of a nugget. I was not very impressed with the fries. They weren’t fresh and were like those frozen fat Ore-Idea fries you can get at the supermarket. :P If you’ve got a craving for chicken fingers, or really like gyros and philly cheesesteaks, I guess it isn’t bad to «try» Deno’s out, but if you can spare enough cash, go to Zaxby’s or Fatz.
