I loved the food here, yes I wish they would kick up the spice level just little, but I don’t think Spartanburg is ready for authentic Jamaican food. All in all the guys are very friendly and the place looked clean… I got the curry chicken, rice and peas, & steamed cabbage… Great price too…$ 9.00 for it all… Oh and the Beef pattie was awesome …
I will be eating it today too… Yes, they give u that much food (go for lunch, and you will have enough for Dinner too)…
Love the place… Welcome to Spartanburg… Oh and kick-​up ur spices just a bit…

Was hoping this place was legit!! Tried the the jerk chicken, the curry chicken & the BBQ jerk chicken. let me tell you it left a lot to be desired. Was no where near the spice level I was expecting for jerk chicken. The BBQ chicken was nothing more than the jerk chicken with bottled BBQ sauce on it. These guys are trying to do it right but seem scared to do authentic Jamaican food. Don’t blink or you will drive right past it. There are a couple of tables outside with umbrellas if you want to eat here. Mostly people get food & head home. The fried plantains are awesome, & the greens were decent. the other sides I got were well lackluster. Who else in the area is doing food like this? Let me answer that for you. NO ONE !!! The chicken was ok. The rice & pigeon peas were good. It’s a solid 3 stars. I’m gonna try the goat & ox tail. Maybe the review will bump up a star.
