Went for lunch. Was greeted promptly by the bartenders. Very friendly service. Also the Mai tai was nice and strong but not overwhelming. I ordered the bento box with teriyaki salmon and it came with rice, spring roll and Cali roll. All tasty and fresh.
The manager came over and gave us the wifi password, and even offered an iPhone chArger. That was fantastic. Décor is nice, prices are on point.
My only complaint was the TVs are so loud at the bar, two TVs on different stations blasting. Kind of took away from the ambiance but not enough to take a stAr away.

I have eaten at Yamato frequently and always enjoy the food, especially the sushi. But today, for the first time, I ordered take out. I put in the order around noon for 1:30 and I was confused by a call at 1:15 asking if I still wanted the order because it was still earlier that the requested pickup time. To make a long story short, the take out was disappointing. Although the rice dishes were as expected, the fried foods were hard and dry, way over cooked, some to the point of being inedible. And the sushi was way below the quality of the sushi I regularly order. I will continue to eat at Yamato, but will probably not order take out for a party again because there seems to be different standards of quality between eat in and take out.

Absolutely delicious! Had the Peace Roll, which is shrimp tempura, crab meat, mango, coconut and cream cheese from my recollection. Also had tofu (perfectly cooked) and chicken teriyaki. Came to $ 50 with 20% tip included. Will definitely frequent this place.

I am addicted! I love that the place is new and clean. I love the extra attention Sara gives to her customers. The bartenders are entertaining and attentive. Food is fresh and delicious! The online website needs to be updated.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks on Saturday night. Very nice inside, nice décor and bar. Server was very attentive. Will be going back for dinner soon.

I was disappointed that this place doesn’t have the hibachi tables. Instead it’s cooked in the kitchen.
Service was pretty good. Staff was very nice. I ordered beef lo mein and sesame chicken. Food was very fresh! I liked the lighter sauce on the chicken instead of the thick kind that usually comes on this type of dish.
The interior is very classy. Beautiful bar area. Such a huge change from the dump it was when it was the Sky Buffet. Nice job!
I will definitely visit again.

While perusing and gallivanting the streets of Spencer for edible sustenance, a co-​worker and I stumbled upon this fine Asian establishment.
Food was exquisite, sushi was excellent, service was good. Great place for lunch.

My party of 4 went on New Years Eve.
For a new place that recently just opened and us being there on one of the busiest nights of the year all I have to say is Fantastic! No complaints at all. This is now my new favorite place to eat locally. Who wants sushi? ME !!! I will not turn down a chance for sushi and this place is local and good. I got what I wanted for the holidays!

Had a great experience went here for lunch and sampled items from several parts of the menu sushi was fresh and flavorful. The thing that impressed me the most was the quality in the kids menu items, I have been to several others restaurants and find the kids menu to lack quality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.
