I would give a negative star if I could! I went there to get lash extensions, BIG BIG BIG mistake! I did not get after care instructions other than don’t use oil based products and comb out my lashes. After 3 days, my lashes HURT and it took forever to comb them out! They were stiff and terribly painful. The gal glued one false lash to several of my natural ones leaving it looking weird and clumpy! After three days I couldn’t take it anymore and called every where in town to get them off! When I found the lady who could (she’s a saint!) she was shocked by the amount of glue (huge clumps) and the poor quality of lashes! If I didn’t get them off when I did, my lashes would have been even more damaged than they are now. Ladies, I would strongly advise going somewhere else if you want lash extensions. Read reviews, ask questions, and you will find someone who knows what they’re doing! All have been warned!!!

Not a good experience… My stylist was not friendly at all. Worst part is I asked her to fix the spots and she never did! My hair is super choppy and uneven. :/​now will have to go spend more money on another hair cut to get this mess fixed.

Wonderful salon. Owners and staff are down to Earth and very friendly! Not pretentious at all. Been around for many years so you will get a lot of quality and experience. Always love my cut, color and products. Try the eyelash growing product. You will love how long and full your lashes !

Brenette is an artist with hair color. I give her free rein when it comes to color choice and I’m never dissapointed. I have been coming here for years and love it. This is where I brought my daughter for her very first haircut. Brenette was fabulous with her.

Blades is as good as it gets. The owners Ed and his lovely wife Bernett are very genuine and really care about getting to know their clients on a personal level. Their staff is top notch and very professional. They offer scalp massages and they are amazing! I took my girfriend there to get some serious help done as she put it. She had been using cheap hair dye layered over and over itself. Her hair color was naturally light brown and was currently BLACK BLACK. She wanted to start getting it back to its natural color without doing serious damage. They got her taken care of and did an amazing job. She was very happy and it looked really good.

I love this salon. I have to admit, we had a relationship that was good, it was really good. They colored and cut my hair after surgery and made me look human again. And then, well, I cheated, I went somewhere else. I have been saloning around for some time and have never been fully satisfied. Today I went back to my beloved Blades and I have the hair cut of my dreams. I am in love again. Thank you for your service, your skill at cutting hair and your place is so clean and fun. I feel like a new person!

I LOVE this place. Everyone is always so nice and I’ve gotten some of the best hair cuts/​colors of my life by their hair stylists. I also get my lashes done here as well. They have extremely competitive prices and listen to what I have to say about the look I want. I won’t go anywhere else as long an I am in Spokane.

I’ve gone to blades now for about 6 years, and wouldn’t bother going anywhere else in Spokane (trust me, I’ve tried them all). Carmen is a great stylist with better prices than other more trendy salons in town, and better quality cuts too. I’ve never been disappointed with a cut or color there, but I know they would fix it if I wasn’t happy. They also offer free bang trims between cuts (which is great incentive not to wreck your do by DIY-​ing it).

I went into Blades needing some serious help after years of going to Great Clips and other crappy $ 6 shops. Brittany totally saved me, choosing the perfect colors for highlights, cutting my side bangs awesomely and treating me like a princess. The prices are listed on the wall ranging from the lowest price stylist to the highest so you can choose what you want to spend. A scalp massage is included!
