Great coffee and space. A big cut above the coffee in all other coffee places in town. Wonderful addition to Main

Great coffee but the one time I went, I waited about 15 minutes to get my americano. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a rush but it’s tasty. Cool location, check out the other shops too!

Love this coffee place. The interior and set up of the place is fabulous! Friendly baristas as well. I tried the salted caramel latte.

The cafè bonbon is quite possibly the most sublime form of the coffee drinkers pleasure that I’ve ever been honored to consume. I still long for it, especially being 2,000+ miles away. From what I hear they’re owned by a Middle Eastern gentleman who doesn’t skimp on class and variety of sinfully decadent offerings.

Love love love! Best coffee and tea and brain freeze ice cream — who could ask for anything more? It has a delightful foreign city feel and the lovely woman with the great tattoos is always welcoming and gracious and she just might be the best barista in the city. I cannot go by without stopping — such a little gem — you have to check this out.

Especially for Spokane the Saranac Commons is one cool place. I love the Parisian vibe of the place and the food is delicious, way overpriced, though. I don’t even want to admit how much I blow on their signature affogato because I keep ordering it. Gorgeous and delicious with refreshing attention to detail, the only reason they don’t get five stars: outlandish price, too much whipped cream, and the lady didn’t give me the extra shot of espresso they dump out anyhow even though I asked and she still just threw it away. Just look at this affogato, nom.

I am beginning to think that there is some sensory embellishment force field around this building. All the products from all the venders have tasted better than I had prepared for and all the workers, amazingly beautiful and hard not to stare at. This coffee experience today from this establishment was so memorable and wonderful and the unhide-able passion from the stunning preparer of my drink, so impressionable that I had to write this review. Amazing! For the second time we went to another well reviewed hipster coffee dig in the area to get drinks and the culture repeated a lack of interest in us.(Charming if the product is spot on but the barista this am did not even want to do a pour over) So with a near full cup of expensive drip copy in the cup holder of our car we went in to this mall to get the amazing pastries from CC that we were salivating for. When we walked in for the pastries in the back we saw in the near-door café, the eyes of realness and listening-ness from this barista. We were like fireflies to the light and the near giddiness to prepare what she was drinking for us, had this Batista over-delivering on all counts. Flavor, attention to detail and people love. If life is Great this place will make it greater… if life sucks this place will make it Not Suck as much… if at all. The taste and experience was simply Devine. Go here and smell the… Goodness! Leave, ready to pass-it-on! Well done coffee preparer beautiful person! Thank you.

This past weekend I travelled to Spokane, WA for Business(I live in Northern California). I met with a dear friend in Caffe Affogato & I had two drinks 1– Dolce Fino and the other one Caffe Glasse. These were the best Italian drinks that I ever had. The quality was as close as one of these drinks to get in Italy. The atmosphere and service was great. I wish I was living in Spokane to go back and try other items on the menu. If you want an authentic Italian coffee or drink in a beautiful atmosphere while meeting with a few friends, this is the place to go. It was a fantastic experience. Thank you!

Really enjoyed Café Affogatto! Love the space and the staff! I had the Classic Affogatto and it was quite good. The orange zest was a nice flair I hadn’t had before. I wasn’t very impressed with the choice of coffee they carry and the espresso was a little burnt but don’t let that deter you. Its still an excellent place to go enjoy some gourmet coffee treats. I’ll be back

Love the space, and the idea!!! Affogato is one of my favorite treats, and their Classic affogato didn’t disappoint. Love the presentation. The espresso tasted a little burnt, but that won’t keep me from coming back. If you are in the mood for a sweet coffee treat I would definitely recommend Café Affogato!

Ordered an affagato with vanilla bean ice cream… it was amazing. Brain freeze ice cream is to die for. My favorite affagato mix is salted pretzel… soo good.

Caffe Shakerato is phenomenal. Imagine a martini but with coffee shaken with ice of course until it is frothy and quite excellent. The only thing more bubbly and delightful then the drink itself was the barista.

Coffee at Caffe Affogato is an experience. I had lunch with three friends and everyone had a different coffee experience, from the sublime to the extravagant. I was very well pleased at the barista’s attention to my preferences. I like coffee-tasting coffee with just a hint of sweetness. He provided me with an Americano that was perfect. One of my friends had the Affogato which is visually stunning, presented in an over-sized martini glass. It was pronounced a «5». I have forgotten the names of the other choices, but they were all top notch. So why a 4 instead of a 5? Because a customer came in with a «service dog» which was not leashed and was allowed to walk around unattended. It took a while to even determine for whom this dog was providing service. I completely support the presence of service animals. However, I am not pleased when one is left unattended to wander around visiting diners.

My friends and I stopped by here by accident and had the most incredible experience. The owner and the rest of the team were so hospitable, and REALLY know what they’re doing. The café affogato was incredible, and the atmosphere was perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

I believe this place has the best espresso in town. I had the wood-smoked Italian with lavender, sage and caramel! It was heavenly! Went back for another today too. Superb.

My initial impression was that this place was cool and has potential to be around for a long time. Fortunately their products and customer service seem to be able to back that impression up. The location is a little off to the side of the downtown hustle, but easily within walking distance. The area looks like it is about ready to bloom with cool and hip new offerings. I went with a small group of people and was the first to order, a latte, no flavors, no fuss, just a latte. My only complaint comes here… first to order last to receive. However, it was worth the wait. The coffee arrived in a large white mug, covered in a simply decorated, beautiful foam. The coffee itself was smoky and pungent, with chocolate notes without being bitter or overpowering. The milk was well steamed, although it contained a little less foam then I expected and more milk then I normally like. It went down easily and a little too quickly. It made me want more of those flavors and I walked away without that coffee bitterness in my mouth. The ice water with orange slices was refreshing and a nice alternative to lemon water, which I can’t stand. I will be back as soon as I have an opportunity.

First off, what an awesome location! Right in the heart of the ever-growing Main Street. The building itself houses the coffee shop, a brewery, a soon to be Mediterranean restaurant and and bakery. I got a doppio espresso con pana, dark chocolate and orange zest. Can’t wait to come back and try some more! Also, Alex The barista was extremely inviting and helpful!

This café is a bit of a dream, for the owner and his team, but also the customer experience is quite pleasant. Particularly if you come in the morning you might spot the owner, originally from Iran, has a lovely personality and accent. They have an Italian flare; their coffee items on menu have Italian name’s with an English description. Currently they have to drink/eat: Alderwood Roasted coffee, seattle, WA Café D’Art, Seattle, WA Awesome-Lake Missoula Tea Co. Tea! Brain Freeze ice cream! Made right here in Spokane. Later they will have a smoothie bar where, supposedly, some if not all fruit will be coming from an orchard in Washington. Their signature drink is Affogato… Hence the name. Come for a bit of Italy to Saranac commons and check this place out!!! :) P. S. Be a little gracious. The café is still working on being 100% ready. Tables and chairs are coming ;)
