I recently checked out this store for the first time on one of my thrift store days. The .49 tag deal is amazing and you can pick up some great items for cheap without having to worry about going a certain day as the deal lasts all week. They change the tags every Monday so best to go early in the week for the good stuff. I loved this place because it was small and not a ton of people digging around that you have to work your way through like some of the other thrift stores in town and also, customer service is wonderful. However, their clothes really aren’t that organized, sizes are mixed up and they have quite a bit of items that are dirty(which isn’t really a problem since they get washed right away anyway but in comparison to other thrift shops) or ripped, stained, ect so make sure to check your items carefully. Also, the smell inside is a little musty and it lingers with the clothes but once washed, they’re fine. Anyway, for the price, who is to complain? They also have bags up front you can fill a whole paper bag for $ 25 of any clothing item. The non .49 cent items are also all reasonably priced, I will definitely be returning here.

This is my favorite thrift store in Spokane! First of all– it is clean and organized! The staff is very friendly. They go above and beyond and have good tunes on and offer complimentary coffee. I always find good quality clothing and books here for super low prices. It is centrally located near the Monroe/Indiana intersection. Thrift store shopping is already a definite feel-good activity because you are saving the planet man! Reusing, recycling and what not… but Global Neighborhood Thrift is like the Al Gore of feel good activity because the store trains, employs and empowers former refugees. So, I’m in trouble when I go here because basically my shopping makes the world a better place. So why not fill up a bucket with vintage finds, affordable clothing and did I mention their book selection? Be on the watch for their annual 50% off sale and the bucket specials…

Stopped by their today. they are committed to turning over the clothes! Fill a 5 gallon bucket for $ 20. I got 2 nice jackets, several blouses and sweaters, a sweater, shirt for my son and 2 skirts. Lots of old records and tons of books. Good prices for a thrift store and clean! They also raise money for a good cause. try it out!
