As great as the food is, the customer service is even better. If I could eat here everyday, I would.

Breakfast for 2 this morning at around 10, so the place was empty save for 1 person. Lynn ordered the «Happy Waitress», open-​faced grilled cheese, bacon & tomato with fries, while I had pancakes & well-​done bacon. She had ice coffee & I had hot.
Everything seemed to be prepared freshly for us, and was delivered hot and ready to be eaten.
Place is tiny, and the cook is also the waiter (and I’m guessing, also the owner).
If you’re in the neighborhood, try it! We were happily satisfied and think you will be too.

The chef/​owner is great company, and has been an established cook for more than 25 years! Somerset, Scotch Plains, Edison, and now lil’ ol’ Spotswood! We’re lucky to have him.
The care package: tomato soup and grilled cheese was very comforting!
