While researching for a wedding venue I had come across Michelle’s work and made a mental note to keep her in mind. Little did I know, my wife-​to-​be had also found the Redheaded Ninja page as well. Obviously the first thing that sold us, her quality of work.
Since we were both «out-​of-​towners» when it came to State College, it was great to find a photographer who was a kindred spirit to us (she walks the walk of a green biz by minimizing paperwork, etc.). On the wedding day she captured all the important moments, was super friendly to all the guests and my bride. She rocks!

I thank my lucky stars that Redheaded Ninja was our wedding photographer!!! I found her quite by accident while searching online, and was attracted to the artful images she captured at other weddings. She was really professional and easy to communicate with, even though I was planing my Pennsylvania wedding from California. She took extra time before the wedding to make sure that we were both clear about what we wanted and expected from our photographer and images.
At the wedding she lived up to her name… I have been in several wedding parties where the photographer directs and even poses certain shots and did not want that… I wanted to be sure that our photographer captured the events as they naturally unfolded rather than interrupting them to get a certain shot. She was totally invisible, in a good way… everywhere I looked she was there capturing important moments yet she was completely out of the way and never seemed intrusive at all. It was amazing to me that with the pace of a wedding she did not miss a single important moment.
I was quite impressed to find that, even though our reception was late into the evening, she had posted a few shots from my wedding on facebook THE VERY NEXT MORNING. It is hard to explain, but as a bride the day goes by so fast and it meant the world to see pictures as I sipped coffee the next day and tried to remember every little thing.
Once I saw the proofs I was flabbergasted — she not only got some beautiful shots of me and my husband, but she photographed nearly every person at the wedding and included little details of our place settings and flowers, etc. There are so many beautiful shots of the children at our wedding as well that I cannot wait to hire her to photograph my own children.
She also worked with me on the layout of my album to make sure that it was perfect… even though it meant taking a bit of extra time.
All in all I would say the she exceeded my expectations in every way; her prices were very reasonable, her presence and conduct at the wedding were so respectful and yet very thorough, her communication both before and after the wedding was prompt and professional and her work is not only wedding photography that means the world to me and my husband but works of art in and of themselves.
We could not have been happier with our wedding pictures!

So happy to see this! I used Michelle for my wedding and she was so much fun. Be warned, she only accepts cool weddings so you’d better have a twist to tempt her. Kidding!
