Buzzles Shaved Ice

I love how fluffy the ice was and the syrup was amazing the only problem was the smell. I don’t know. if it was the trash can but I was ready to leave because the smell was getting stronger the more we stayed.

Moved from San Diego back to Spring recently and could not WAIT to have a snow cone… It had been three years since I had one, and there is nothing better than a snow cone in the summer. Luckily for me, my new office is right around the corner from Buzzles. I got the Peach snow cone with cream mixed in… my mind was blown, my brain was frozen, and I couldn’t be happier.

Finally REAL shaved ice! Tried this place today and it was AWESOME! They also have a drive thru that had a long line but it didn’t take long. Great place to bring the kids on a hot summer night.

One word: yum! The shaved ice is so soft! I had the mango topped with tajin. Super impressed. There is a wait but it was worth it. Perfect on a hot day!

I’m used to snow cones or Chicago style shaved ice. This is somewhere in between. It’s not the ribbon style shaved ice I’ve had back home and it’s not as crunchy as snow cone ice.
I couldn’t believe how many flavors they had! The possibilities are endless here. I decided on mango with chamoy and it was good. No one flavor over powered the other. I wanted to go back again and try other flavors, but I contained myself. If they’re open in October I’m going to attempt dill pickle flavor! Hahah

Okay this will be simple and short. Buzzles is so yummy and sooo cheap! Tons and TONS of different flavor options and you can mix and match. Just please go and try it!

Delicious snowcones, high prices & long lines! But once you have one, you won’t care about the price & the wait.

I’ve only been about 3 times, but every time I go they drown my snow cone with the flavoring, it’s like I’m eating nothing but flavoring with a little bit of ice. So I went last night and asked for them to go light on the flavoring, they filled the cup half up with ice and pretty much the rest with flavoring. To me, that’s absolutely ridiculous.

These are hands down the BEST snow cones around. However they make them, they always turn out so delicious and flavorful. They never taste watery like a lot of snow cone stands do.
They have TONS of flavors, and they even have sugar free and other premium flavors. And when I say tons of flavors, I mean it. Even dill pickle!!! They also have lots of ads-​ins, such as ice cream, sweet cream, candy, etc.
Remember, this place is really popular and often has a line! But don’t worry because they normally work fast. They have a drive-​thru as well, and plenty of outdoor seating. Perfect summer spot!

A wide variety of flavor selections and combinations make for some of the best shaved ice I’ve ever had. Glad this place is here, especially during the summertime!

Make sure you add cream too any flavor it will set it off! My favorite flavor so far is banana pudding w cream.

The ice quality is amazing, but the girls working there are rude sometimes and you can hear them complaining and talking bad about customers often. Not ok. I would give the ice and flavor choices 5 stars, but they need to hire more professional personnel.

love this place! I love the fact that it is open all year around! I’m from Georgia and the shaved ice place is only open during the summer time! The downfall to this is the lines… Always a long line especially in the afternoon. But it’s worth it! That’s for sure!

Here why this place takes a 5star rating for me.
First of all good service the girls there where moving fast and where polite, they have a drive-​through and they take credit cards, Amex, Discover, Visa and one more which I forgot :(they also offer samples of the flavors you would like if you’re not sure on what to have or never been here before this is a must do;prices are not bad either I got the large and I felt I should have order the jumbo :)) just kidding, I order the strawberry with sweet cream (which by the way I got for free because of our awesome Unilocal app that has a free sweet cream topping once you check-​In. The flavor was great it rally taste like strawberry not overwhelmed or too sweet at all just perfect and the sweet cream was all the way to the bottom of the cup which for me is a plus love it, now let’s talk about the ice, the way they shave their ice is so cool they use a different machine for this process which me and my kids where exited to see is not the same as any other I have seen before, the ice will not turn into a big chunk even if you are almost done with it is really soft and delicious. My hubby and kids where please to have the watermelon flavor it was great I try it :) and they try mine too win win my husband like it so much that he even took a picture and posted to FB which he almost won’t do unless he really likes something.
So if you have a chance and are close by or heck why not I drove 10 miles to get it :) just take a drive and have one of this, you will like it so much that you would go back, as for me I will be back to try the orther flavors soon and will post about them as well the next one for me will be Dragons Blood which is strawberry with coconut flavor.

We gave this place a try because of all the great reviews. While the ice is shaved very nicely, and they have a fair selection of sugar-​free flavors, it still seem like the flavoring was muted and not as strong as some other snowcones we’ve had from other stands. On the plus side even though the flavors weren’t as strong, the sugar-​free flavor tasted better than for example the sugar-​free flavors that they have at Bahama Joe’s which seem to have some sort of weird aftertaste.

I have never been much of a snow cone person. Sure I’ll have one every once in awhile on a hot day, but it’s something I can take or leave. That is until I tried Buzzles. I had read all the hype and thought it’s just a snow cone, how good can it be. Boy was I in for a surprise!
I went through the drive thru. How convenient that I can get a snow cone and not even get out of my car. They had all your typical flavors as well as some specialty flavors. I was even able to sample the flavors. They also have lots of toppings and add ons including a scoop of ice cream!
I decided to play it safe and go with the Buzzle flavor which is a vanilla custard with sweet cream on top. I got the kiddie size and they even put it in a larger cup for me and leveled it off so it would be easier (and less messy) to eat in the car. IT WAS DELICIOUS! The ice was soft and fluffy and when I drank though the straw I got a nice sip of the sweet cream that settled at the bottom. It stayed nice and creamy to the last drop! It never got icy or slushy toward the end. I ate the whole thing! I can’t wait to go back and be more adventurous.

The long lines/​wait in the afternoon would typically take off a few stars but the sno cones more than make up for it.
The shaved ice is soft, the syrup is sweet, the prices are low. All great factors for a cold treat.
I’m partial to strawberry but they offer dozens of flavors and flavor combinations.

Holy cow. I’ve never had anything like this before. I love snow cones; they are a big part of summer and I’ve never been too picky about them. Until now. Start with the basic flavors and you’ll be a changed person. It’s just a radically different snow cone experience. If you try a gourmet flavor however, you will sit dumbfounded by the complexity and beauty of the glorious event happening in your mouth.
EVERYTHING is different about this place. The ice is different, the flavors are different, and the service is different. The empty snow cone stands littering the miles of road around the place are a testament to JUST HOW GOOD IT IS.
Don’t waste your summer and your life. Do the right thing
