I just started getting into running and don’t know much about what shoe is best for me. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the staff. They watched me walk and fit me to the best shoe. My husband is more of a runner and likes to test his shoes and was able to run outside to really test them. I definitely recommend this store.

I have been a runner for many years — not a fast runner — but I have purchased more than my fair share of running shoes from many stores all over Texas and Oklahoma. When I moved to Houston a few years ago I was thrilled to find Fleet Feet within just a few miles from me. They are not as large as other Fleet Feet I have been in or as some of their competitors but they still have a great selection of shoes and a decent selection of other running gear.
I had been developing some knee pain and wanted to try a few different types of shoes. I can’t remember the name of the young man that helped me but I must have tried on 6 – 7 pairs (Newtons, Asics, Saucony, Nike, Brooks, etc…). I normally know what I want and usually make my selection in about 5 minutes but I wanted to make sure «something different» was going to work. The sales guy never seemed impatient and occasionally one of the other sales people would offer help. I purchased the Newtons that time (I have purchased several other pairs from them since) and felt good about my experience.
I would recommend them regardless if you are a long time runner or just getting started. They can meet all your running needs.

I am a new runner and after a year of trying to run in Nikes, lots of shin splints & ankle pain, and a visit to my podiatrist, I was advised to visit Fleet Feet. I am so glad I came here! The experience was easy, fun, and quick. After watching the way I walk and sizing my feet, I was brought about 5 pairs of shoes to try on. After some hesitation, Lee brought a couple more pairs for me to try and I was able to finally decide on a shoe. I am so pleased with my new kicks and can’t wait to break them in. Fantastic service, the saleswoman was extremely knowledgeable about training shoes. She watched my daughter’s gait and sized her, then specially selected several shoes for her. The shoes are really helping her endurance and comfort.

The young lady who assisted me did a gait analysis, measured my feet length and width, and then recommended a style of shoe which would provide me the most comfort. She then brought out several different shoes of that style which met the criteria and worked with me carefully as I tried them on, walked in them, gave her feedback and brought out other shoes based on what I told her.

Every time I am in need of a new pair of sneakers, I come to Fleet Feet. They are extremely knowledgeable on their shoes, and they will even observe your walk and feet to find the best fit. For me, the Asics 2100 line is always the best fit, but everyone has a different foot and one shoe does not fit all. My family and I know that when we walk in, we will be guaranteed to walk out with the best fit shoes.
Although they do carry the higher end of your typical sneaker brands, the investment is worth every penny. Your feet will thank you and you won’t be sorry.
