Mosquito Squad Houston

I live in a neighborhood that mosquitoes just seem to LOVE! Our neighborhood sprays at night during the season, but I’ve come to learn that it’s only a «knock-​down» spray. And — it’s only in the front… These pesky little blood suckers were so bad in my yard (both front and back) that I was all but ready to buy stock in a misting system… That is until I happened upon Mosquito Squad. When I called, Dolores was super helpful in answering all of my questions and very informative in her explanation of what their spray is and the service they offer. I didn’t sign on right away — I wanted to dig deeper. So after having evaluated the reviews for the business (it’s a franchise) in other areas — I was eager to give it a try. So I called back and happily signed on!
Initially, the cost did hold me back, but honestly it was far more affordable and even more convenient (they even offer monthly billing), than most of the other servicers who ultimately only offered a «knock-​down» spray.
Let me just say — prior to them coming out, I couldn’t even walk from my back door to my truck without getting devoured. I know I have good skin and all — but GEEZ! It was as if my kids and I were a premier buffet! I would like to keep my blood (not to mention free of disease) if possible… lol! My poor kids looked like they had a very bad case of the pox going on and they stayed covered in cremes. Ugh. :(It got so bad and to the point that we didn’t even go outside to play! I must say I love that it lasts right at 21 days and doesn’t damage plants or cause harm to my kids or their toys and dries in a half hour!
This being a barrier spray (which is suppose to kill them AND their larvae) and the fact that if I ever see or feel mosquitoes in the interim (between sprays), they will come out and respray (at no charge to me), was the most appealing! After the first treatment, I was sold. We planned it so that when our kids’ birthday party came around — which was in the middle of June — the yard would’ve been sprayed and we could really test this stuff out. Well, it was phenomenal to say the least! I have allergic reactions to mosquitoes and swell up pretty bad, so after having been outside for most of the afternoon and only 1 bite anywhere… I’m definitely a believer! Let me also make mention that NONE of my guests complained! SCORE! ;)
We just finished up our first year with them and I will most definitely be signing up for service next year! I even let them put a sign in my yard… ;)
