Such a cute place and the food is delicious! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it was one of the best around! The desserts are by far the best!

RJ Goodies is an undiscovered gem in North Houston. This friendly restaurant has some very tasty deli sandwiches, served on their signature twist rolls. I am partial to the Chicken salad but all are delicious. There are no bad soups here. All homemade and very tasty. They have the best Potato Bacon soup I’ve ever had. It is served daily or you can choose the additional choice of the day. Chicken and Rice is another of my favorites. Top that off with the finest in bakery goods for dessert! Brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and pies like no where else. If a holiday is coming, order a pie ahead of time and pick it up. These are hands down superior pies to that place everybody lines up for at holidays, again, hands down! From the owners to the waitstaff, friendly, helpful, and they remember you. If you are tired of the same old chains, get here today! Bön Appetite!

Best desserts around. The icing is to die for. Reasonably priced meals and baked goods. My personal fav: Spinach quiche with a lemon bar for dessert. Have NEVER had anything here I didn’t like. Soups, sandwiches, desserts — all great. My only complaint would be the noise level. I have eaten there and have gotten carry out.

I am charged with coming to RJ Goodies to pick up delicious Texas Sheet Cake(my friends and I refer to it as crack cake-we can’t get enough of it!) It’s lusciously delicious and turns bad days into happiness.

I have been here many times over the years. The food stays consistent but the service is horrible. The people are very rude and honestly it’s like you are a bother. The only thing they do cake wise edible is white cake with buttercream frosting. Why do I keep coming back? My mother in law ask me to and who can say no to that. I hate it every time I come and swear it will be my last. Don’t bother if there is a decent bakery anywhere else

It had been awhile since I’d eaten here. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and chicken was cold from the frig, very dry and hard in places plus no flavor! No thanks! The parking lot was almost empty when I pulled up and the place was hardly ½ full the whole time we were there.

They made the cake for daughter’s second birthday party. It was made to serve forty and was much bigger than that. The chocolate cake was very moist and flavorful. The icing was fantastic — sweet and sugary buttercream. The only decorating instructions we gave were that we had an Old MacDonald theme and to include a cow. From there it was ‘decorator’s choice’ and we were thrilled with the result. I haven’t tried anything else there but everything in the bakery cake is huge and looks delicious. They had a large variety of flavors in brownies and cookies.

Small family owned restaurant that is noted for it’s bakery… the food is fresh and homemade… I find this spot to be the perfect lunch stop… Ihave never had anything I didn’t like… The bakery is nothing short of heaven… Homemade cakes, pies, cookies, and other delectable dessert… My favorite are the seasonal suger cookies that are decorated per the season… If ever in the Klein area be sure to stop by!

This is my favorite bakery in Spring. I order all my cakes from this bakery. They will work with you to make exactly what you want and the cakes are delicious! As a place to eat, the ambiance is very nice and the food is good. If you’re new to Spring, this is definitely a place you need to check out.

It seems like no one writes lunch reviews about this place, which is uncanny since the parking lot is packed from 11 – 2. Look, I’m so trying to find a good comment to say about this place. And this is it — the two girls that work up front(but can’t work the cash register) are excellent. Kudos to you two having to deal with the machismo idiots there with you.(That’s why you get 2 stars, and they only go to you two girls) The two teenage male yahoos running the cash register obviously weren’t raised to respect women. I think I waited at least 8 minutes for a to-go order(it was sitting 3 feet away right behind them on the counter), but these boys did EVERYTHING but try to even acknowledge my presence. Look, people, it was a bowl of soup and a brownie. The girl who waited on me had done all the work. I just needed to be rung up. Soup was completely gelatinous. Seriously… it looked like tapioca. Second time(I thought, hey it’s close, I’ll give it another shot, get a salad or something), service was a bit better, but dang it, I still gave the soup a try(potato leek, looked like vanilla pudding with green flakes) along with some fruity chicken salad. Of course, to go. Asked for ranch in case I didn’t like the poppyseed, ranch spilled out all in the bag before I made it to me car. No napkins. Salad…, four bites of chicken. That is all. I’m just getting more frustrated as I write this. This place needs to «represent» its name. It’s a staple in this area. I’m so terribly disappointed. Maybe your gentlemen up front need to take your«manners» class… And get your act together with the soup.

They just reopened since the fire that closed them down for several months! Great to have them back! I had to stop in for a few of their iced cut-out cookies. I missed having my birthday cake made by them by about 2 – 3 days! They have a very good ‘lite’ lunch menu. But the bakery beats any others around the area!
