Snowflake Donuts

Cold dry donuts at 08:00. Bummed.
I thought the lady was heating up my Bavarian Filled Cream Bar when she grabbed it and ran into the kitchen.
No. She cut my chocolate bar in half like a hot dog bun, pulled the Bavarian cream out of the refrigerator and squeezed some out into my cold hard dry donut.
Still didn’t warm it up.

This is the closest donut place to my house, so you know it’s the only one I’m actually going to drive to on a late morning.
I must say, although their donuts are not spectacular. They are always SO nice there. Some of the best donut service I’ve ever had. The employees are really friendly, and somehow they always give me a free bag of donut holes. Their donuts aren’t to die for, nor do the melt in your mouth like Shipley’s or Crispy Crème but they do satisfy the craving.
Besides their donuts, they have really delicious kolaches. They’re huge too! I love the jalapeño and sausage kolache.
Place is clean and they do have the normal selection of drinks (juice, milk, etc.) that most donut shops offer.

Decided to try this place out on a Monday morning after noticing this place opened for several month. I was greeted once I’ve entered. I took a look at the glass display and notice that have Boudin Jalapeño Kolache. So I decide to get one kolache and some glazed doughnut holes. I tried the doughnut holes first and thought they taste like any other local doughnut place which was good. Then I took a bite of the Boudin Jalapeño Kolache. The kolache had a really good spicy flavor in it and the beard of the kolache had a really good buttery sweet taste I like. It was probably the best boudin kolache I ever had. I will definitely be back.

They have great donuts, kolaches and a ton of drinks.
People don’t understand that the owners get there at 3:00am sometimes and start baking! You know the donuts will be absolutely amazing! And for the people who left 1 star, you must’ve been having a bad day and decided to take away from an awesome donut shop like this one!

1) They have a BIG open banner hanging on their entrance, which is quite misleading. I took a detour to have some donuts only to find that the store was closed. The open sign is for «newly open»
2) Their timings are very odd. 4:30 AM — 12:30 PM. This part of the town is pretty dead until the morning hours. And the shop is closed when it could do business!
3) I tried their blueberry & glazed donuts. Both were HIGH on sugar and there was nothing special about them
4) They lack in vegetarian kolaches.
5) The second time I went in there, they had all stale stuff, and the store smelled AWFUL.
I shall not recommend this place to anybody, nor will I myself give them a 3^rd chance.
